Well it has been some time coming, and I finely sat down and put something together. Its not an original idea. As many of you know I was very influenced by Adam Huges, and others who have done similar images since him. I replaced some of the characters and added some.
It should be rather easy for some to guess who is in the image.

Banzai Girl thought all was well...until a new Snakeman attacked them, revenge for his brother's demise at Jinky's hands back in BANZAI GIRL #3! First up to attack: The lovely Michelle! But My character Jinky "Banzai Girl" Coronado is on the move and is in full action mode!

| His name is Ezra Pierpont Morgan and is a spoiled rich kid who pretty much abuses the band members, financially, constantly cooking up another scheme. He is a cowardly lout. Now in an effort to have some awesome women in the pictures, the nemesis terrorizing him is Boobarella an Elvira-type hostess who unleashed a bunch of monsters on the group. We see Boobarella crushing Ezra head with her big boobs. We see scary monsters in the black background ready to attach on Boobarella command. Ezra is scared because he know who Boobarella is. |

Here's the finished (more or less) line art. I took the rough that you saw posted earlier -- which is drawn on tracing paper so it's easy to see through, and had lots of cutting and taping for pieces I re-worked -- and I drew this tightly onto 2-ply bristol board working on a lightbox. Then my brother Pejee cleaned up and finessed the piece in Photoshop.
My lightbox is actually a big solid wood drafting table with a 22" x 28" lightbox built into it, that I bought in Brazil and had shipped to the USA. It is EXACTLY the same type of table used by Mike Deodato, Will Conrad, and Cliff Richards!
Now's it's being Emailed off to Katrina Mae Hao for coloring! (You're certainly welcome to color it, too, if you like!)

Hi! Sorry I've been away. I've been working on a new project. Now i'm back working on a few new BANZAI pieces that I hope you'll like.
This time around, I'll share with you all the steps in creating the new piece. This is my character battling the sinister Snakeman. It's just attacked my good friend Michelle, and i'm coming to the rescue!

Some time ago I made a Rachel Summers/Phoenix pic, [http://heromorph.com/heromorph2/uploads/photos4/17575.jpg] and though it was a nice, fun experiment to render not-so-good-looking fire in 3ds Max, I was never really happy with the pic. And yesterday, after seeing the awesomest Jean Grey/Phoenix pic ever [http://artgerm.deviantart.com/art/Jean-Grey-Phoenix-256147799?] by Artgerm, I thought it was time to revisit mine. And though it will never be as good as his, I'm happier this time.
I went back to my original Max file (which I luckily didn't delete) and re-rendered the girl with no background and no more rendered fire (and a much larger pic too), I painted the phoenix effect, as well as my usual retouching: hair and face details, and now I went with a photo of clouds I took like a year ago to get a nicer contrast than with the fire ball I used last time, besides, you can't have Hollywood explosion backgrounds all the time. ;)
Anyway, I hope you like it. |

Been a while since I did one of these...
This is Stephanie Brown, MY Batgirl, star of the best book on the stands over the past two years. Now unceremoniously dumped in limbo so DC Editorial can indulge their Silver Age fetish by going back to Barbara Gordon (who in any case is far, far better as Oracle).  Figured I oughta pay tribute before she goes...
DAZ base + Bryce background + Photoshop costuming. The face is based on Mia Wasikowsa.
