Ember is a beautiful red-haired girl who joined Storm in his adventures. Storm and Ember clearly form a couple, although their love is never expressed in the books.
The art of Don Lawrence was so inspiring to me as a kid. Lawrence died in December 2003 of emphysema at the age of 75.
Recently 2 brothers from Greece bought all the rights to re-publish all the Storm stories...The publishers called their company Esperros...Thank you so much for this guys!!! |

I only post one pic in this year becuase I was working on a set of 4 comissions, I didn't want to post them when they were finished becuase I wanted the person who asked me to maniped them were the only one to enjoy them for awhile.
But here it is a little preview of the 4 characters I did, they were maniped separately for a wallpaper of each character (the original size is bigger than this one)...so I worked this one to put them all together.

While out and about recently, I heard the old Simon & Garfunkel tune 'Bridge Over Troubled Waters' playing, for the first time in years. Part of one stanza stuck with me:
"Sail on silver bird/sail on by,
Your time has come, to shine/all your dreams are on their way..."
This reminded me, of all things, of the portion of the Power Girl Secret Origins story that speaks of how she emerged from her ship "eager to experience the world she'd only dreamed of".
So, in a moment of repose on the cusp of the New Year, I offer a portrayal of her considering all that's come before, and no doubt hoping this next year will be better than the last, like all of us.
And so, on that note, a Happy New Year to all.

Five months ago my hard drive had to be deleted because of a virus, and noe I have to redo all of my charaters that I made in Daz Studio. Anghell here is one of those characters. The only thing I did not work on is her ears which are elf like, but you can't see them anyways. Anghell is just striking a pose, so enjoy  |
