| One for the Bad Girls! Don't be fooled by Luela's pets, she's twice as ferocious as both of them put together. I guess wearing an enchanted amulet that allows you to assume the form of any animal will do that. Luela's a member of a group of time-displaced space pirates called The Outcasts and although she plays a supporting role in the group she is by far the most cunning. Not only does Luela entice men with her feminine whiles before literally ripping thier hearts out, but she also played a major role in history by assuming the form of the Egyptian Asp that gave Cleopatra her fatal bite. Since youve already seen her work clothes I decided to dress her for the occassion [invading an enemy island with her STARS teammates that is]. Now this is what I truly call a day at the beach. Happily, I am surrounded by good friends who are also among the top artists in the whole comicbook business!
Artist CLIFF RICHARDS, who drew BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER for Dark Horse for five years, has also drawn ANGEL, STAR WARS, THE SCORPION KING, BIRDS OF PREY, WONDER WOMAN, ROGUE, X-FACTOR, ESCAPE, and lots more. He's currently drawing the graphic novel adaptation of PRIDE & PREJUDICE & ZOMBIES.

With his dying breath, the alien passes on his ring to the one selected as most worthy of the amazons, princess Diana.
With her newfound power ring Diana must decide if to take on the quest to protect sector 2814 or forgo the ring and accept the task of ambassador of peace, Wonder Woman.
Ok, its been a while so I managed to work through my chronic procrastination and finally finish!.
This piece was made by frankesteining various action figures most notably CS Moore's She Dragon , Fathom and Witchblade models... enjoy!

Awhile back here on Heromorph, I was discussing with other artists the idea of a BANZAI GIRL movie. "Who would play me?" I wondered, after shooting down the idea that I could play myself.
A number of names were kicked around. I think everybody decided that if a BANZAI GIRL movie were to be made in 2010, then Vanessa Hudgens would be the logical choice.
But when I originally conceived BANZAI GIRL a few years ago, I had someone else in mind: Kristen Kreuk, who played Lana Lang for years on Smallville and Chun-Li in the recent Street Fighter movie.
Witchblade artist Adriana Melo graciously did a drawing of Kristen as my character, and I thought to share it with you now.

Just another picture I have been working on here recently. This was based mostly off a picture I found of Mary Marvel by Benes. I really liked the look and overall design, I did add a few twists of my own. Overall I think this came out pretty well. Cape was a lot of work, not totally satisfied with that, but it is what it is. I thought I'd sort of do a montage of characters from my whole BANZAI GIRLS storyline. This became the cover for my first graphic novel collection.
I had help on this one. The basic layout, and the snake monster, were by Wilson Tortosa, current artist on WOLVERINE: MANGA. He and I did the art on much of the first BANZAI GIRL series together.
Several years later, I returned with a new BANZAI GIRLS sequel storyline, and my own style had matured a bit. This hearkens back to the original style.

Hi everybody! Today, i bring you a WIP . I started this piece a few years ago but now i'm ready to finish it. The chars in there are actualy me and a friend of mine. It still has a lot of work to do, but i think i can finish in a couple of days. Sorry for the bad quality of the pic but i couldn't take a good photo because oils are still drying (and a small part of the painting is missing :\)...
Well, i'll upload the final version soon (i hope...).
