Vic Cooper was a drifter, small time thief, and sociopath. When a supposedly easy cat burglary went wrong, leaving a family dead, Vic found himself the target of the largest manhunt in New Mexico's history.
Cornered in an electrical substation, Vic made his stand and wound up electrocuted...or so the authorities thought. Vic woke up in the morgue imbued with amazing power. He became a living EMP blast.
He often partners with Jailbreak and Heatseeker.
Notes: Another teenage creation of mine. The hardest parts of this one were the yellow fringe and finding the right blend for the electricity in his hands.

OK, my first real attempt at an image fitting the main theme of this forum/site.
I'll admit the concept is stolen from the cover of the first comic book (Spiderwoman at wikipedia) So, sue me. (Umm.. concepts are not copyrightable...)
Hope you enjoy my work.
PS: Reposted with a bit of noise reduction added. I think it sharpens the image a bit.

She is the Mistress of Mass Destruction, the Bringer of Flame, she is Heatseeker. A enemy of of Black Ice and by default Heatwave. Her path of destruction and mayhem is eclipsed only by her brother, Jailbreak.
Notes:Another original villain of mine. Oddly enough Heatseeker started off as male character called, Radioactive Man... I was 12 okay. Played with various textures and multiple levels to achieve the effects seen here. The background is a tanker explosion photo I Googled.

Alternate cover art for the character. I decided to go with a simple portrait this time rather than an action shot as with the previous. Miss V is holding advanced 21st century weaponry such as the AA12 auto shotgun (to blast casinos) and the HK Mark 23 SOCOM. The tricky part was getting them to scale. Special thanks again to Mr. MC and his encyclopedic knowledge of these weapons.
I still don't know which cover is preferable, but maybe it's about time I quit goofing around and get on with the story already! |

This is a Superman Elseworld i created for a fanfic.
In the story Kal El arrives to Mexico instead of the US. The idea came after reading Red Son, where Supes becomes a dictator, and something similar happends here.
Mexican history has something with charismatic heroes becoming political leaders, and then becoming national villains, so i tried to play a little with that (sad) side of our history.
This is the cover of the first comic (which is more of an origin tale.) A friend of mine (Lalo Diaz) created it, and I'm very very pleased with it, he really made a terrific job.
He took the Superman Birthright cover, and change the uniform.
Oh by the way, his name is changed to Santiago Villa, and when he wears the cape he's called Tonatiuh (the solar god for the Aztecs,) i thought it was quite convenient... |

Another Justice Babe...this time Aqua(Wo)Man.
And in keeping with the Aquatic babe theme, the model is Olympic Swimmer Stephanie Rice.
In addition, since she hails from Australia, the underwater city is modeled after her own Brisbane's cityscape-with Sydney's opera house thrown in for its architectural genius.

Thought this was going to be a total travesty but it turned out to only be a semi-travesty so I guess I can live with that. Gave me good practice with shading anyway. BTW if anyone wants to manip Lionheart, don't bother trying to get her exact costume because it was different in every pic of her I found. |

Ok, so I wanted to do something a little different for this member of the League.
I picked an appropriate model for the character, not just because of her...um...assets.
This is Iveta Lalova, a Bulgarian sprinter, and sincerely one of the 25 fastest women on the planet.
I found the pic of her in an awesome pose and created a new background with help from a few brushes I found online (smoke type from taze485 and falln-stock, and flame style from obsidiandawn)
The coloring of the smoke and flames took a lot of trail and error to get it to look right.
I think it came out pretty interesting.
