Who would have thought that I would be lucky enough to land an opportunity to do some of the artist sketch cards for the 2008 Marvel Masterpiece trading card set? Miracle of miracles, thats exactly what happened! Thank you Jesus!
I did 100 of them and all but 8 were approved so I will post all the approved ones. I'm actually not allowed to post the unapproved ones.
I think some of them are pretty good, some are adequate and a few are quite a bit less so. I don't know if anyone here collects the Marvel Masterpiece cards but if anyone happens to see any of these out there would you let me know?

I wanted to try something big and this is it. Over 80 layers and I had to learn and try some new things.
I didn't do any shading or highlights for two reasons. The first is that there is multiple light sources and I wasn't sure how to do that and second I was running out of computer memory.
Anyway, I hope you all like it, any comments and suggestions would be welcomed. |
