| This is an older version of Copycat's original form. I have since changed her, but she could still look like this if she felt like it. Copycat is a powerful Psionic Shapeshifter capable of becoming any other Metahuman/Alien/Animal or whatever that she remebers the genetic coding for. Thus able to use the same powers. |

First, let me say the only reason why I choose this character was because she is a very obscure one. And because for U.S., well? we have lots to choose from and I?m trying to show in this series some more unknown characters.
I also tried some new things in this one, like a new technique for fire, some ?frankensteining? and tried to make her uniform to look a bit like metal.
About the character, her powers are from magic origin and she?s able to control and create flames. Her control is such that she can create weapons out of flame (I tried to show that with her axe).
She was publish by Quality Comics, in the Smash Comics comic book. Created by Bob Turner and Jim Mooney in 1941.
Oh yeah, her name is Wildfire.

In Issue #2 of Wonder Girl (December 07), Wonder Girl's uniform gets destroyed so Hercules gives her a new Amazonian styled armor costume. I just couldn't resist. Most of the costume is armored (from what I could tell) with the exception of the black portion of the skirt (appears to be cloth or leather). I used Gemma Atkinson as the model.

| Wanted to try some things in photoshop. Don't look so much at the drawing as the lighting effects. Only spent around 10 minutes actually drawing but worked for almost 2 hours coloring and trying to do cool energy/light stuff. |

My take on the infamous "Gill Man." I love this movie, despite the cheese content and the inherent 1950's sexism.
This is a Hat Sketch. WTF is a "Hat Sketch" you ask? Well, it's an idea I swiped from a guy over at Digital Webbing. Basically, I took a bunch of little pieces of paper and wrote random sketch ideas on them -- nothing too complicated, as they're supposed to take 15-20 mins each (unless I do them while watching a hockey game, which pushes them to 45). I put them all in a hat and pull one out every time I sit down at the drawing table. If anyone wants to play along, send me a message and I'll keep you posted on what I pull outta da hat. |

Always thought she was the coolest of the classic disney villians (she can turn into a freaking dragon  ).
I think she will be making an appearance in 'Enchanted', since there is an evil witch who turns into a dragon in it. |

Kinda proud of this one because I used my meager skills in texture manipulation to add the lightning bolt to the top, and still make it appear like shiny rubber/latex. |

| The first of many pics depicting my City of Heroes charcaters, this one's my favorite. Neither good nor evil, the sorceress known only as the Grey Queen walks that fine line between heroine and villianess with tightrope precicion and unmistakable style. She looks kinda like Jean Grey's Black Queen but with Emma Frost's bitchy attitude. [BTW this is her second and, IMHO, sexier outfit.] |

| I have been working on this on and off here or there for the last 4 months. My wife likes fairies and has been up my @ss about doing comic stuff and wanted one. So I finally put the finishing touches on it so she'll shut up. Don't really know where it applies here. But I thought I would share with you all since it was a manip. Painted the hair, at least I have gotten use with that as practice on this. Clothes, Wings, yadda yadda. Take a look comments of course for any improvement are always welcomed. Thanks guys... |

Well i thought I would try my hand at a bit of 3d work in Daz Studio for a change - David 3, Freaky devil tail, kurt suit from Vadlor (my own texture on suit). The skin is a recolor of the base David skin with some adjustments.
Think it turned out ok for a first attempt. |
