Babs was sitting in her new all-terrian wheelchair watching the waves from the beach. Just then, Bat-Man walked up.
"Why are you crying, Oracle?" He asked.
"I lost the use of my legs, Nightwing broke up with me and I am starting to realize that I'll never be screwed," she sobbed.
The Bat-Man smiled, "Don't cry Barb, let me help you."
He reached down and scooped her up in his powerful arms. Holding her close to his chest, he began to wade into the ocean. There eyes met and without warning he threw the helpless Oracle into the surf and started to walk back to the dry sand.
Looking over his shoulder he called out, "NOW YOU'RE SCREWED!!!" |

this is my first attempt at Zatanna. argubley my favorite character design from DC(batgirl is my second), i've been avoiding attempting her cause i haven't wanted to post a messed up version. so this is my first attempt. i'm really happy with the face, but not the skin, as REAL pale skin in poser is hard to find, so i had to go for a mediterria look, which doesn't fit that well. i'm also happy with most of the costume, except for the chest piece, as it's really hard to find a good waist coat that's also sexy...
oh well. whats' your opinion? any helpful comments or advice would be welcome!
PS: i prolly won't post again this weekend cause i just got battlefield 2, and i wanna blow shit up!

| I'm so displeased with that last Bat-chic pic that I had to try to do a new one to dispell the ill feelings. I think this one is better but I don't know. In case its difficult to tell, she is adjusting her hair and holding one of those small compact thingies. I felt she also needed a purse so there ya go. For better or worse. Sad part is, I feel this one is better than the last and this one is just a ball point pen sketch from my art pad that I colored and smudged around on in photoshop while the other one that I don't care much for was a fully inked drawing. |

holy moley batman! i actually listened to critque! actually, yeah, i do tend to listen to critique if i agree with it. so this is a reworking of sighting supergirl. i really don't like the long armed costumes, but the white shirt from the cartoon don't really fit, so i said, who needs continutity?! and yeah, you may notice the s is a bit bolder, and hey, the collar's still there.
>.> i like that collar. i also tried to lessen the saturation on the red, but it's still a bit bright...
see, this is why you give detailed critiques, so i's learn! and hey, does anyone wanna see a break down, really simple, what i changed between costumes? if you do, say so, and i'll post in hellfire!

This was done for another site. The premise is to do a character in mad genius Temporal Dave's Squinty Mc Chin style. If you're not familiar with Dave's stuff, he's the guy that did the very funny BatHomer image in the upper right part of the Home Page. Since I'm such a huge fan of Squinty in particular and Dave in general, I actually picked up a pencil and drew something for the occasion (gasp!). I've also included the goofy little backstory I added over at the other site since folks seemed to enjoy that at least as much as the drawing.
Doctor's Dilemma: Chinny McFate
Poor Kent Nelchin... as Chinworld's Dr. Fate, he would become the sorcerer supreme of this world simply by placing the mystic helmet of Fate over his head. Unfortunately, the ancient forces which placed these great magical powers within the helmet failed to consider the evolution of massive mandibles among the superheroes of the planet and poor Kent can't seem to get the helmet to fit right, no matter how hard he tries. This means he can't actually see when wearing the helmet and it causes his spells to misfire in unpredictable ways which makes poor Chinny one of the least called upon heroes of Chinworld. Squinty in particular, avoids working with him due to his own susceptibility to magic and has frequently been forced to come up with awkwardly lame excuses so as not to make poor Nelchin feel any worse.

I know, I know, it should have a background but bear with me. First things first. I have to get comfortable simply with painting before I can try to add backgrounds. The character has no name. He's just an easy painting subject. |

After completion of my first manip Wonder Woman, I decided to challenge myself with my favourite DC lady Supergirl. Upon browsing various blonde actresses, I came across several photos of actress Kristen Bell (of Veronica Mars fame) and combined them. I then found as many Hi-res promo and magazine images from the latest Superman flick and began work. Everything on the outfit where made from the 5 or 6 Superman Returns images I found. Unlike my previous Wonder Woman manip, I left the outfit pretty much unchanged from the most recent comic book style but did take some liberties in the colour scheme, most notably the skirt which I change from blue to red due to the blue being too dominant in the outfit. Also added a touch of gold to the skirt as well. Started this in early August and finished it Dec 1.
UPDATE - Apr 2007: The amount of mistakes in the original was bugging the hell out of me since day one so I redesigned pretty much the whole thing. New skirt, boots, shirt, cape and background also added some subtle textures and details to the outfit. Now I'm much happier. |

More bad burlesque, this was actually much more difficult than it looks. Besides being just a head swap, it's also a bikini swap, boob swap, hair swap, other added parts and lots of retouching. The only thing left of the original model is the arms. I should post all my references just to show how far removed the final image is from its source. Very much like customizing a stock car but with a different type of body.
Building the staircase was the worst. But if that wasn't enough, I had to establish convincing consistent light throughout (hope it worked) and added the same crappy noise and distortions on all objects to give the impression that this is is an authentic screen cap.
I think I got all seams covered. |

Booster seeing his former friend posing on the street quickly falls prey to her new body and becomes her best customer. |
