What a COUP!!!
Womanhood had successfully lured Vampirella to join her on the woefully female-deficient Team 2.
Soon after, while enjoying a celebratory snack from the food hut, the women began to nosh on some strange looking anti-pasta.
It was only after tearing apart and sharing a particularly large and whiney piece of pasta that they realized they had just killed and devoured none other than ... The Crimson Noodle!
Both buxom ladies agreed: Victory never tasted so good! |

| Batman 2: The Killing Joke EvilDeadAlive TV and Movies 2006/7/20 21:11 3530 7
I wanted to make another poster with just Glover as the joker. To me he is hands down the best guy for the job. I called it the Killing Joke based off one the comic books. I took a screen cap of the playing card at the end of Batman Begins. This is my joker, I dig it. |

| Contrasts in vengeance. VagabondX Other Comics 2006/7/20 16:40 2402 5
A teamup that seems made to order. The similarities of these two are too good to pass up while the contrasts make it a perfect match. Both wield dual pistols, both somewhat supernatural, both garbed in flowing cloak type thingies and both prey on the evil of society. Man/woman, white clothing/black clothing. Seemed like a cool image in my head. And for those who don't know them. The lady is Dark Horse comics' Ghost and the gent is the pulp vigilante of the 30's/40's the Shadow. |

| Lady Shiva e-man2003 DC Comics 2006/7/20 6:20 3683 1
Okay, so I'm reading Superman/Batman: Public Enemies and I come across Bats fighting Lady Shiva. I really liked the way she was rendered in the the book, so I was inspired to do a manip of her. The model is Angie Everhart. I realize she is of the wrong extraction, but doggone it, she looked pretty strong to me!! Comments??? |

| RORSCHACH KER1 DC Comics 2006/7/20 6:12 2943 12
One of my favorite books is the WATCHMEN, great story! And so of course I wanted to include one or more of the characters in the colored pencil series. . . . . Rorschach seemed to just pop out at me first. . . one my favorite quotes of his is when they lock him up in jail and one of the prisoners shouts to him "Now you're locked in here with us" and Rorschach replies. . . ."I'm not locked in here with you, YOU'RE locked in here with ME". . . . Great stuff! |

| Sue Storm: Voluptuous style VagabondX Marvel Comics 2006/7/19 15:04 3199 8
This is for the Sue Storm week. I tried to draw her as more of a voluptuous female rather than the thin as a rail, ribs pokin' out variety we usually see in comics. Although I'm a huge fan of those also. And don't ask me whats up with the hair. I have no idea. Hair, especially womens, is one of my MANY major weaknesses. |

| Draw Off: No Erase VagabondX Other Comics 2006/7/18 22:42 2306 5
Here's another entry in the draw off. This one was hard for me to resist doing any erasing on. I actually caught myself reaching for the eraser at one point. It was that left leg. This is some anonymous jungle lady. What was the hardest for me was to not use the contrast tool in photoshop. I usually do that to darken my pencils and its become almost a reflex. |

| LOBSTER JOHNSON KER1 Other Comics 2006/7/17 7:39 2143 3
Well I'm i HUGE Hellboy fan and of course most of the characters are pretty kool too! I was gonna do a series of the characters from the books to convert into icons for folders and stuff. . . . so i wanted to do them entirely in the computer wiyth no line work over them, but JEEZ talk about time consuming? So i only got around to doin' Lobster Johnson. . . hopefully I'll get around to the others! |

| THE THING! KER1 Marvel Comics 2006/7/17 7:36 1865 1

| Draw Off: No Erasing VagabondX DC Comics 2006/7/17 7:06 2339 5
I liked Thayne Luc's pic of Checkmate so I was doodling my own attempt at it in my sketchbook when I thought I might as well make it a point to not erase on it so I could enter it in the Draw Off. |

| Lady Heromorph meets...Beavis and Butt-Head?! SilverAgeMage TV and Movies 2006/7/16 18:54 2757 7
I've been wanting to do B&B for a while, so I thought their reaction to the lovely Ladys'"big thingies" would be a natural. I Pen-tooled around a model to get LHs' amazing curves, but it's no manip. Everything else is freehand, mostly with Pen, in Photoshop 7.0. |
|
| Adam Strange VagabondX DC Comics 2006/7/16 15:14 2124 4
I know this is an older character but I always liked the design of his suit. Although, I did this one before they recently relaunched his comic with a redesign of said suit. |
|
| Weapon X VagabondX Marvel Comics 2006/7/16 15:11 2570 6
I recently read a Wolverine novel by Marc Cerracini about when Logan was captured and subjected to the adamantium bonding process. There was a scene in it where Logan first regains consciousness after the procedure and kills the first technician he encounters. The image of him standing over his victim when he is discovered by security was so vivid it made me want to do this. I sketched it in my book with a ball point. |

| Tick story VagabondX Other Comics 2006/7/16 15:07 2282 4
New England Comics put out a call for pencilers a few years ago by printing a two page script in the back of one of their comics for people to illustrate. This was my attempt. The originals were on that comic book art board. |
