I like other characters besides Supergirl. Honestly, I do!
When perusing Al Rio's site, I stumbled across this inked drawing. He had also colored it, and while my version is NO WHERE NEAR as good as his, I think I'm getting the hang of it. (Yes, I'm bored at work. Can you tell?)
There's another Supergirl Christmas that I want to try, as well as a Mary Jane one. Those'll be up later. This one I'll finish the backgrounds at a later date. |

When I first started thinking about what to use as a base for Man Thing, I thought about using a picture of the Hulk. I couldn't find one I liked, though. For a month, I had no other ideas about how to approach a Man Thing pic. Then, in the wee hours of this morning, I had the rather silly idea of showing him on the toilet. "Probably too late to do anything with it now...", I thought. Then, this afternoon, in a final, desperate google, I came accross a picture of the Hulk on the toilet. I love it when a plan comes together . I slapped a Bowen Designs bust over the Hulk, and added a little bit of color and shadows. Not my proudest moment, but hopefully it will make up in laughs what it lacks in artistic ability. Now to email Billy and tell him about the "deadline extention"

Mary Marvel and Black Adam had a kid?  I didn't even know they were dating. Anyway here's my first ever entry into this pretty cool Draw-Off challenge. I almost went more tradional with his look, but then thought..what the hell. This is an ultimate version so long hair and a goatee was a must, a new wave costume [complete with standard "ultimate ridges" and of course no cape...cuz everyone knows "Ultimates don't wear capes!" Enjoy! |
