| Half of the duo for Bryan J.L. Glass's book "Spandex Tights." Bryan actually emailed me to ask if I would do his characters, and we struck up a friendship soon after. For those of you who may not be familiar with the book, it was a seventies superhero parody based loosely on the old TV show "Electa Woman and Dyna Girl." it also featured very early art by Michael Avon Oeming who hit the big time with his work on Brian Bendis's book "Powers." |

| This is an old pic of Union Jackie I originally colored with markers. I always liked the pic but never finished it. After scanning it in I decided to totally recolor it using Photoshop and did the background with Illustrator. I know the scene is kinda corny but wouldn't the idea of heroes doing commericials make a cool challenge? |

Originally did this in a photo realistic style but the lighting really took all the life out of the green. So after reviewing the look of the current She-Hulk covers I changed my mind. This version is much more of the gamma-green. Not terribly realistic based on lighting conditions but that is the way she is portrayed now, plus it okay to mix it up now and then for style.
I went back to the current costume because the F4 isn????????t all that exciting in the back. Neither is this one but the colour pops more.
I probably get some comments about the ineffectiveness of the sledgehammer. Yes, she????????d do more damage with her hands; Yes, with all the force she????????d the swing it at would cause it to shatter into a million pieces. But I think it looks cool and it would be funny to see.
P.s. ???????? Biker, this is the same model as in issue one: Danielle Edwards.

Erin Angel as the 1st Spiderwoman. I mainly did this manip for three reasons:
1) wanted to try brighter red and yellow colors as suggested by several artists (comments from my Phoenix manips)
2) wanted to try if the pillow emboss filter was any good, so I added spider legs to her costume to make full use of the emboss filter...
3) i needed to relax after that hell of a board exam... |
