It initially started out as a sketch of a co-worker that I did during a break but never got to finish because her boyfriend got jealous..after that I decided to make it into one of my own characters Beta but after scanning it in I opted for good ol' Emma Frost. Beast Boy, one of the Lallorian Heroes from the Legion of Superheroes. Wasn't alot to this one - the source pic had a crotchleaf that had to be edited out; then dodge/burn/HSL the costume in. Background is a mix of animal photos and poser model renders combined.
As an aside....I haven't been around much lately, massive PC problems. I think i got it all fixed up now, so should be around more often.......and Biohaz, sorry i missed out on our team-up :( |

Being a huge fan of Japanese culture as well as North American superheroes I decided I????????d try to mix the two concepts here. I????????ve done so many Powergirl manips that for this one I threw out all the rules. This version features a hologram material suit, Astroboy-esque belt, zipper system, and a more sophisticated cape clip. I also added the base pick in the bottom left just to show that I????????d tamper with body proportions. Believe it or not they are real!
The top headline says: ???????Supa-Hirozu???????.
On the right: ???????Matsugane Youko is Powergirl???????. Actually I wanted to use a different model, Natsume Rio (who has an even bigger rack), but she tends to have strange up facial expressions and weird poses so I went with m second choice.
On the bottom: ???????The most powerful. Fast and cute!??????? (totally Japanese logic)

Believe it or not... This image was conceived when Operation Freedom started. I wanted to do an image of her riding a bomb and painted on the nose of a bomber. Well, I never got around to doing it so LON just sat on my hard drive. Then I threw the idea past BB (the Bomber idea) and he got all selfish on me and said ???????make an image for the ferrings on my bike???????. I said OK... And a year later... Here she is. I put his bike in there just so you would know what we are planning on doing with this image. Oh, and how about that background? 
Oh, and she is just eye candy... she is no-one. BB and I were calliing her "Maco-my-Dayo" for a little while. |

This is Monica Belucci as Vampy. And, she is very thirsty.
This was one of my first attempts at mirror imaging. It was fairly simple once I got the hang of it. The only things I had to mirror was the costume and the bat emblem. I had fun doing this one.
