| HM/C2F Crossover: Magneto controlling the Scarlet Witch by Tazman and MysticMorgan
Tazman Marvel Comics 2005/3/2 22:19
5004 18
It was touch and go for most of the month. But we made it. Scarlet Witch was done by me. MysticMorgan came up with the puppet control idea. (MysticMorgan) Art Notes(2005-03-01): Tazman sent me his choice which was Scarlet Witch. When I saw it I thought she looked like she was being manipulated like a puppet so I went with that and decided who better to be her puppeteer then Magneto. Unfortunatly I ended up in the hospital with double pneumonia and only in the last week have I felt well enough to start on the challenge.

She is beautiful. She is intelligent. And she has one hell of a body. But you don't want this lady coming to see you. Cause if she does. She will be the last person you ever lay eyes on. This is Black Orchid. A free-lance assassin. Created by my partner Starchild. Look for her in an up-coming story of Code name Daisy. Starring Susan Thomas. |

So i found this magazine cover for something called "Star Week" and it had Lucy Lawless on it and some interview about some new series she's supposed to be in after Xena. The Warrior Woman title was already there. Basically I just made the headband, plopped in some new text, and tried to smooth some of the lines on her face out a bit. but not too much! WW is supposed to be tough as nails... Could possibly become a new series. Enjoy! Comments appreciated... |

| HM/C2F Crossover: Terra vs Beast Boy by Dark Wanderer and Kev Incal
Dark Wanderer DC Comics 2005/3/2 6:25
5043 16
We opted for Terra when she went evil and was working for Slade. The original image was going to have a roof top battle with a ghostly image of Slade in the background. StarFire, Raven, Speedy and Aqualad were going to be out for the count(Slade, Star, and Raven were done by me)... But because of the system loss on my end this was all we could salvage. I am thankful to Kev for being able to get a background and salvage what I had on Terra. So here we have Terra and BB Morphing. Would have done much more ....but....enough rant enjoy. |

| HM/C2F Crossover: Ghost Rider vs Water Wizard by Thayne_LuC and Poison Ivy
Thayne Marvel Comics 2005/3/2 6:24
4487 13
Thayne_Luc sent me an image of Water Wizard and so I decided to do Ghost Rider because they are enemies. I also added all the background from images found on the net.
Thayne's art notes: Well, I really don't know how to say I created paths, desaturated, dodge/burned/smudged the body, used color balance, dodge/burned/smudged the body again. The only thing I had a hard time with was the boots and gloves. I couldn't come up with the right color at first so I just used brightness contrast on the desaturation and then threw in some curves. After that was all done I went over it again and dodge/burned/smudged till I was happy.
Poison Ivy's art notes: Found a motorcross biker. Redid the bike, added a skull, flames, put the costume together. |

This was supposed to be a collaboration between Bathori and I, but we had continuous trouble getting in contact (not sure why). He was going to do Spider Girl from DC... We did get one opportunity to chat on msnm and I must say he was quite a nice fellow. I hope we can post a finished version sometime.

| HM/C2F Crossover: A Knight over Gotham by Winterhawk and GraphicMouse
Winterhawk DC Comics 2005/3/2 6:13
4867 24
I used Poser 4 and photoshop 7. I did Batman and Robin, a section of rope, Batman's shadow and some minor dodge and burning to the rest of the pictures for lighting. My partner blew me away and finished the rest and did such a great job on it. This version is only 50% of the actual size but you can find a full sized version at http://members.shaw.ca/winterhawk3/X-OVER-fin-full.jpg Enjoy
Graphicmouse Art notes: Winterhawk showed me a line drawing that he wanted to try and I said let's go for it. Everything is from scratch using the drawing as a reference. Mainly i sketched the drawing then scan it and colored it in Photoshop. Somethings about the original didn't hit me as being right so i changed the look of the Joker and adjusted the paddle to equal where the steel blade ball was going, other wise I tried to make it as close as possible to the original. |

Powergirl is fast becoming one of my favorites. This one was pretty simple, but I think it looks great. Alot of improvement has been made in my flight shots. Supergirl gave me the practice I needed for more believeable flying pics. Enjoy!! |

There was a long time without postings.
Do you remember "The" Gralha? Very well. Here is his enemy. A girl with the power of a... tree? Sort of. In fact, she can grow herself to the size of buildings. Our hero, powerless in front of her, can only cry and pull out his own hair with anger.
A "enormous" metaphor of a insignificant boy and a real beautiful lady who doesn't care about his attempts for contact.
The real image attached to the manipulation can show you what I have done and how much work and time were spent. |

Hmm...judging by the number of hits on my two newly post Legionnaires, I'd say female manips are more popular here, eh? I guess then I'll go ahead and post this Naomi Watts as 70s disco Saturn Girl. SG comes equipped with large pink...gloves and a different coloring style than what i normally use to give it that fuzzy, oversaturated look.

Here's Sean Faris as Ultra Boy. In Waid and Kitson's new Legion of Super-Heroes book, he's a bit of a punk - then again that's kinda of a UB quality so I guess that's understandable I like that they kept the costume relatively the same.

I finished our C2F/Heromorph crossover piece and still felt like manipping so I finished this Dream Girl piece I'd been working on. Waid and Kitson's new Legion of Super-Heroes book is getting better by the issue and I like their new take on Dream Girl - a spacey precog who's also a good fighter because she anticipates her opponents moves. I'll try to post more stuff...
