Waaaayyyy back in the day, I posted my very first "for real" photomanip, a picture of Harry Connick, Jr. as Gambit. At the time, I said I would have liked to put him in a movie style costume with a 'gator skin coat, but I didn't have the skills. Today, my friends and admirers, I give you this. Not the pinnacle of photomanipulation by any means, but still much better than the first one. I decided to go with the "official" movie wallpaper look this time around, but I may still finish the full color, full body version. I have a pretty good idea of where it could be better, but I'm not really sure how to do it. Any tips? |

| This is my latest version of Wolverine. This is the first time I have tried this costume, and I have to say that I liked working on this pic. The original base was in B&W, but after adding color to it, it gives it an eerie effect. I didnt spend too long on this, because after a week of working on pics, my eyes are pooped!...ENJOY!!! |

I saw this pic and in that moment I knew who the characters were going to be.
This pic has a LOT of layers (first time I used 400 megas for this kind of project), I really was impressed with the results in wonder girls jeans and her boots, the texture looks real good.
I did wonder girl's logo with a metalic effect, I tried using the metalic tutorial, but it didn't work for me, so I played with the dodge & burn and the smudge tool. Raven was easy compare to wonder girl except for the cape, the original pic had a fur coat around wonder girl's right arm, so I have to hide it, and the cape was the "easy" thing to do.
I'm not going to tell more details because it would be too long, so enjoy!

This was the largest pic I have ever worked with, and my PC hates me now. I really had a hard time with it, and probably could have done better, but after 10 hours of working, and several reboots, this is the final piece.
Here we have Rogue, Jubilee, Jean Grey, Storm, and Emma Frost. I was pretty pleased at how it came out. Even though this pic was so big, it wasnt that clear to begin with. So, with that, it may be blurrier than I would like it to be, but it is still a cool pic. ENJOY!!! |

Last Friday I posted a first version of this image. The one that I sent over had a lot of problems, too numerous to list here. This version is a bit better I think. And I stand corrected, the character's name is Komand'r, otherwise known as Blackfire. This version of Blackfire is based on the Contemporary Teen Titan action figure redesign (see inset image of action figure).
