I know the costumes aren't actually 100% accurate to L'Espion's descriptions of the characters, but they're the best I can come up with.
L'Espion have always envisioned Jade Dragon as resembling Sung Hi Li (a Korean American soft-core nude model and actress), but I decided to cast Viann Zhang Xinyu (a popular Chinese actress, singer and model) in the title role, and Sara Jean Underwood (an American model, actress and Playboy Playmate) as her teenage sidekick Scarlet Falcon.
The pattern on Jade Dragon's mask is based on traditional Chinese theater masks, and Scarlet Falcon's costume is simpler with less detailing since she's the newer, inexperienced 'rookie' heroine, but still similar to Jade Dragon's because it was based on her mentor's costume.

In the story beginning next month on exposure.keenspot.com, Shawna Diaz has lost her vision -- leading to a crisis of faith!
This is the cover art, illustrated by me and colored by Katrina Mae Hao.
I wanted to get across a lot of details: She still wants to do her job (hence the uniform), her blindness (depicted by covering her eyes), her speaking of her worries (by focusing on her mouth), while trying to keep all the sexiness the character is known for.

I could tell ya what each character is all about, but then I'd have to kill ya...
This was just originally to be a colour-schemes test I did after drawing it in 2008, so I still plan on colouring it for proper sometime... later. |
