Awhile ago, I got the chance the read some of the first adventures of Mandrake and one thing I noticed was that back then he really was a magician, instead of just an ilusionist with a detective gift.
So, making this image I wanted to go back to those days.

| This is my first incarnation of a Batgirl. While I do appreciate the way the traditional Batgirl "bat" emblem accentuates Batgirl's features, I always liked the design of Batman's circle bat emblem so decided to go in that direction. Hope you like it. |
