Brute Take-down: Hi everyone!, more brute related works. I wanted to do a Image with the brute chopper:) stealth was not an option. There are 2 other Spartans not is this shot though, I also got the Spartan texture idea from a Halo wars render on line:) I'm working on the Black Chieftain, lots of work ahead but loving it!. Her accouterments are from various websites, whose names escape me right now (Probably renderosity). Anyways, I am another step to creating the KILLER BEE: BLOOD AND STEEL: The Street Legal Edition or at least one I can have published over at indy planet.  |

| This is my first incarnation of a Batgirl. While I do appreciate the way the traditional Batgirl "bat" emblem accentuates Batgirl's features, I always liked the design of Batman's circle bat emblem so decided to go in that direction. Hope you like it. |

I finally got around to finishing up the character for this but I'm stuck on the background. So, gradient it is. Liana K was at chicago con back in 08 and she and I were talking for the weekend. I took some photos of her as various characters and wanted to do some pinups. This was one of em. So... I thought I'd share some work again.

This is my idea for a cover for my BANZAI GIRL SPECIAL, which will probably come out late next year. Line art by me (it's all pencil only, no inks). Color is by my good friend Katrina Mae Hao.

The moon was gone from the night sky and a shadowy figure stalked along the dark streets looking for his next victim. Five so far had fallen to his knife and he was eager to add more to the body count.
Then, out of the corner of his eye he spotted a lone woman walking down an alley. He let slip a sinister smile, drew his blade and stalked After her. Sneaking up behind her he grabbed the woman and dragged her into the shadows. ?Stupid little strumpet! ?ave you no sense being out by your lonesome?? he remarked before plunging the knife into her abdomen?.
But instead the expected terrified scream all he got was ?that..... hurt.?
And then what felt like a hammer striking against his face sent him sprawling to the cobblestones. ?So you?re the one they?re looking for.? she said as she grabbed him by the throat, lifting him up. The clouds then parted and moonlight shone down revealing to the man that this was no street harlot. From beneath her hat glared eyes that could only belong to something from the lowest circle of hell! And from parted lips was bared hideous fangs. The creature the pulled the knife from her belly, licked the blood off and tossed it aside. She smiled evilly and then released him. ?I like to chase my prey. Run!.? she said with wicked glee. Knowing true terror for the first time in his life Jack turned and ran screaming into the fog?. |

I decided, after staring at the old Wonder Woman figure I'd put together for countless renderings, that the skin just didn't work for her. So, I decided to throw together something new. This image started out being just a test of the new skin to see what it looked like. It turned into this over the course of about 9 hours.
Also, I'd like to point out, that photoshop is my absolute best friend. I got sick of the lights not doing what I wanted them to, or, in this case, only doing PART of what I wanted it to do; i.e. the gleam in her eyes. It wasn't, however, showing much reflectivity on the metal surfaces, nor was it very bright (except the eye gleam, of course). So, I decided to allow photoshop to help me accomplish the rest.
Let me know what you think, please.

| I had some time to doodle in Poser and Photoshop today. This is one of the results. Don't know if I'm completely satisfied with the "canary cry" effect... it's a distortion filter in Photoshop. I tried several other effects, though, and this one was the closest to what I was trying to go for. As always, thanks for looking! |
