And I'm back to my World Tour serie, this time with 8 Man, the first cyborg character created in 1963 by Kazumasa Hirai and Jiro Kuwata from Japan.
Already with a live action movie and a couple animated series, the Wikipedia says this character was the inspiration for the movie Robocop due to the similarities in both origins. |

| I thought about doing this character with wings, but decided against it in the end. Pretty much pure 3D here...with some PS postwork. I know there is a debate on this site, if 3D is better with postwork or without. I don't fell like an artist at all though, if I let the CPU do all the work :) |

All the dance references in Battledancer were inspired by my wife and hero, Anna (_Wildfire). Before a tragic accident shattered nearly every bone in her body, and very nearly took her from us, Anna was the most amazing dancer. She was blessed with an incredibly strong and flexible body, that made gymnastics and dance as natural to her as walking is to the rest of us. She was a lead dancer on her dance team when they won 1st place, Grand Champions, at the National Dance Team Championships years ago. She heals a little more everyday. She's the coolest friend a space cadet/dreamer like me could ever hope for. She's a comic book, heroic fantasy novel, gamer babe. And of course, my perfect muse. |

Meet Maebee. Once, long ago, she was a teen aged human girl who fooled around with magic she didn't truly understand. A spell backfired and polymorphed her into a bumblebee.
One day Moonpie was picking wildflowers to give to her mistress, Wildfire, when she noticed a faint magic aura on a nearby bumblebee. On closer inspection, it was apparent the bee was not what it seemed. Moonpie offered to dispel the curse if Mae agreed to serve Unicorn Falls for ten years as a fairy.
That was 60 years ago. Maebee has come to love being a fairy, and has chosen to put off going back to being human,...for the time being.
One of her main duties is to patrol the boundaries of the magical realm of Unicorn Falls, using her fairy magic to reinforce the misdirection wards in place to prevent anyone finding Unicorn Falls unless by direct consent of Lord Ghost Tiger. |

As he moved about the ship looking for his fellow Marines and members of the crew, he found several spot that showed a brutal and bloddy death for most of the crew and his fellow Marines. In several parts of the ship he could swear that he was being watched. Donning his space armor and grabbing his weapon he moved towards the bridge to find a way to send out a distress call. On the way the bridge he stumbled into the creature that had killed the crew and was forced to retret to the bridge. Now the beast has foced the doors open and the final stand begins. |

Her rage and need for vengence against the Jedi for killing Maul made the clone wars unneccesary as she made it her personal mission to hunt down and extirminate the Jedi Council one at a time until no Jedi would accept the job and the Jedi faded into legend. She did spare one Jedi to train as her apprentice and upon the death of Palpitine at her hands this universe would know the same fear of the name Darth Vader. |

As she thrust the badge in the wall access panel in the Science section, a faint ?SHHTT? could be heard.
The doors opened and she found herself on the balcony overlooking the costume contest?
When suddenly?CLICK!... the spotlights came on?and?
WHOOSH!...the curtains flew open?and
BLAMMO!...the big screen lit up?
?Oh, No! Not again!? Barbara thought as she dropped to her knees?

| I've been working on this helmet for the past 3 weeks, its for the same guy that I painted the Thundercats motorcyle for... apparently, this helmet is for his girlfriend. The colors are a bit dull, since I just finished the paint tonight and will clearcoat it later. BTW, this is the front... I also opted NOT to add in her braclets... this one as already a pain in th arse. |

Took me nearly three years to get around to doing this. Can't really explain that.
Anyways, the idea is inspired by a really cool alt-realty comic called 'Exiles' that Marvel sadly has cancelled. The world needs Morph now more then ever, and we get screwed.
Anyways, the idea here is that the US government has taken anti-mutant sentiment and twisted it so that Robert Kelly is elected president in the 80's, assassinated in the last year of his second term, and succeeded by his VP, Henry Gyrich, who expands mutant control legislation to include all superhumans. The first casualties of this new war are the X-Men, killed before the new, multicultural team is ever formed. With Xavier and his people dead, it is up to Magneto to reform the X-Men, this time comprised of both mutants and more conventional superhumans.
His first pick is Peter Parker, a young fugitive whose family was killed by the Z-60 series of Sentinels (which heavily resemble Ultron) just because the lad could walk on walls. Renamed as Spider-Man, Peter Parker becomes the field leader of these new X-Men, which now includes Regent Namor of Atlantis, Canada's own Wolverine, Nightcrawler, young Tandy Bowen, who calls herself Dagger, fugitive astronauts Johnny Storm and Ben Grim, and Peter's wife and Magneto's daughter, the Scarlet Witch. Rounding out the team is Janet van Dyne, who secretly possesses no superhuman powers, and joins the team as a protest of the goverment's treatment of superhumans, and Josiah X, the son of the first recipient of the Super Soldier Serum, fighting what he sees as one of his country's greatest injustices against it's own people.
And yeah, I just now noticed that Josiah is shorter then Spidey and Namor's head is just....huge. It's really not that important in the grand cosmic scheme of things, I think. |
