this came out of an attempt to make a red sonja piece...the chainmail bikini just wasnt working so i threw it out and started adding other stuff....and came with up this, "a barbarian librarian! her fines come out of your blood!"
hehehe, sorry, couldnt resist. i realy like this one, as it was of the few pics i;ve done where i didnt have to make any textures for. while i do enjoy making textures, sometimes it is fun to take a break. same with hero pictures.
anywho, i do need to apologise for all those folks who messaged while during the downtime. long story short, i was unable to truly access this site until i moved from my crappy home internet, to my superfast dorm internetm whihc i did today. so i'll try to get back to those pmed me soon. also, i will get back to the hero' pics, as a i have a few rogue texts i wanna show.

This guy is The Mighty Penguin. Super strong, invulnerable, very mean. Better than explaining why he's called the penguin here is an exchange between him and a generic person who wonders the same thing:
Generic person: So, you call yourself the Mighty Penguin?
MP: Yes.
GP: Do you have penguin powers?
MP: No.
GP: ....did you somehow get your powers from a penguin?
MP: No.
GP: Are you similar to a penguin at all?
MP: Well...I can't fly.
GP: Ah I see...Then why do you call yourself The Mighty Penguin?
MP: I like penguins.
GP: Ah.
MP: They're cute.
GP: Yes, yes they are.
Anyway, I thought that would be funny and I thought it would also be funny if I made him extra mean. Nobody expects a guy called The Mighty Penguin to be very mean. Oh and I put the 'mighty' in front since DC probably holds the copyright to just 'The Penguin'. |

Well VL was asking if I was gonna color this so I went ahead and did it. My eyes were going crossed with the webbing and the texture but I'm glad i did it.. background done in similar fashion to my recent batman pic.

| VL asked for people to make her a firestar for her story, and since I am having some problems writing my story I figured I would help her out some. Her vest is a 5th generation S.H.I.E.L.D. bulletproof vest, flame retardant and lined with Adimantium chainmail to make it lightwieght and flexable. Here she has jsut located the lab where she was taken as part of the Weapons X program. I don't think she is too happy to be here. Hope this is what you were looking for VL. If not let me know. |

For all the Green Lantern's fan, the keeper of the Book of Parallax for the Sinestro Corps.
The girl is Jaime Hammer, and i think she fits perfectly for the character. i think this came along very well, the background doesnt have a great resolution, still i think it looks Ok.

These three beauties call themselves the Sisters of Orion. They travel through known space providing various forms of 'entertainment' to humanoids (and gathering information to sell to parties who offer enough).
The first sister is the oldest of the siblings, and is in control of their little 'operation'.
I picked three different green skin tones for each sister, for variety's sake. After all, humans have a variety of skin tones, so why not humanoid aliens?
Couiple of mistakes (in the armbands of Sister #1), but its good enough for me

| I really love all of petercotton's superheroine textures for the Daz3D Aiko 3 Catsuit, but so far no CatWoman. One of DC's sexiest Heroines. So I felt compelled to make one myself. This is Catwoman from Batman The Animated Series as drawn by Bruce Timm. The Catsuit textures and Belt prop are my own creations. The claws are from Satine for A3 by Nemain Ravenwood. |

Did this on my fiancees laptop while on x-mas holiday in france. It only had photoshop cs on it at the time & I severly missed the warp tool. Also if I have to chrome,emboss,inner shadow one more time I may just give up living!
If you haven't read this comic give it a go, someone needs to convince DC that this is a worthwhile character. |

I hated that the book was discontinued [that's a story for another time] but most of all I hated that no one would have a chance to see what we were working on. | Back in the 1990's, Captain America lost his powers and had 1 of his 2 best friends, Iron Man, make him a suit of armor. This is my rendition of that armor. I have him side-by-side with his energy shield (which he didn't receive until the late 1990's when his shield was lost in the ocean, after he regained his powers and threw away his armor). |
