Still keeping up the practice. I've gone with a more classic look (no texturizing) and still keeping up w/ some of the new costume's look.
This one was inspired by another pic of Superman standing atop the Daily Planet Globe. Again the model is Marisa Miller from SI.
I think I'm making some progress here.  |

| Here's another picture done for the BCS "Bad Challenge". My favorite demonic vigilante...The Gravedigger. Straight from the pages of Toxic Waste, he lets the mob know what time it is. This pic was actually done about 6 years ago on posterboard. Thank God for Photoshop and digital cameras. |

Concept: Unlikely Amalgams, in this case Barnell Bohusk (Beak) of Marvel's New Mutants, and my favorite DC hero: Superman
Body base is a simple Evo template based on those made by Kryptcom of Superbuddies.net
The head is based on a profile of Beak II from 'Here Comes Tomorrow', and the Shield is simply a modified Pentagram with a traced bold Antiqua Sans Serif 'B' |

OK, I'm taking each log in to Heromorph to heart. With each visit I learn something new and try out each style and tip that I've read about. I'm going to try to stay away from trying to manip any other character other than Supergirl. I figure if I can perfect this then I will move on to another.
The difference with this piece is that I had actually taken the time to create it. I'm usually rushing these things and keeping them to 2 hours or less. This particular one took me 2 hours a day for the past 3 days. EEEK!
Please let me know what you think. Good and bad, any critique is helpful.

Okay, I basically just re-colored a picture of Hong Kong Phooey to turn him into Iron Fist. I didn't have time to do the glowing fist effects....just use your inagination  . I also accidentally made the picture reeeeeaaaaly small, which is why this is all jaggy and pixelated. |

Okay, this is just a quick one I did this morning, so it's not top class... but I got this idea in my head and I just had to do it. Darn deadline. *grumble*
Anyway... I just loved the idea of making cyclops into the wimpy Roger Rabbit, and Jessica as Dark phoenix was pretty obvious. |

Elisha Cuthbert is Supergirl in this beautiful pic. She flies high into the sky to get a better look at the fireworks over Metropolis.
I liked this one alot. The base was a great size to work with, and the pose and expression just couldnt be ignored. I hope you enjoy! |
