This is the first photomanipulation that I ever did. I traded it to the moderator of hotheroes.com for a free membership. Hotheroes was the first hero photomanipulation site that I'd ever seen (1994, 95?) |

A requested manip done on a photo supplied by the person doing the request. I was really happy with how the cape turned out.
This is not a work in progress, so don't ask for a background. This is a seven year old manip done in a paint program.

| Catwoman Silver_Hero DC Comics 2004/11/14 9:51 3611 3
Another requested manip. This person had asked for the specific Catwoman costume that had appeared in one issue of the Silver Age Lois Lane series. After I completed it, he complained that it was too dark (turns out that he wanted to print it out).
Note: Another seven year old photomanipulation, done in a non layered paint program. |

If they did a movie of Magnus Robot Fighter, perhaps Nicole would be a good choice to play Leeja?

Here's part 3 of my Farscape/GL manips. Here we have Ben Browder again as GL Hal Jordan and Lani Tupu as Dr. Light. I'm pretty happy with this one as a whole image. I think Dr. Light's suit is the best Spandex I've ever done. |

| Batgirl- (Black Costume) Jedifan227 Marvel Comics 2004/11/10 20:46 3339 4
I have recently posted a few pics with alternate costumes. I am really having fun doing the lesser done costumes for my manips. I am trying to test myself to do as many alternates as I can. I always liked this costume for Batgirl. It makes her look mean as hell. This was a huge base pic, and it took alot longer than I thought it would, but I am pleased. Enjoy!!! |

I actually had to explain the green hat to a couple of people. I was really proud of building that Green Arrow cap, and then got complaints on it. Anyway...
By the way, all of these manips are done with PaintShop Pro 4.0 (no layers, straight paint program). |

| November Challenge - Wonder Woman for Wonderbra Wasmith DC Comics 2004/11/10 16:58 4457 5
Wonder Woman makes the perfect supermodel for Wonderbra.
This is a 100% reworked version of my original concept, which was pulled by mods due to insufficient manipulation.
The base image was a photo of Victoria's Secret lingerie model Adriana Lima.
So now that I have done a WW manip (well, sort of), does this qualify me for membership in a special club? |

by popular demand, here's a reworked version of my Elseworlds version of PowerGirl, without the lens flare. i did a little more touching up while i was there, making her eyes green and just generally cleaning the image a bit. for those interested, the model is Masuimi Max. enjoy! comments appreciated. |

| Walking The Dog #2 - "Sparky" BikerBot Fantasy 2004/11/10 11:06 5352 11
Dogs and their owners have always argued about "when it's time to come in", even in Lower Hades, apparently. Sparky wants to stay out and play, but this Demoness has a Date with The Devil, and doesn't want to be late, so they are "discussing" it...
The second in my "Walking The Dog" series. The model is the same as the first one (it's the Theme, get it?) but you might recognize the head and the mouth flame from somewhere else: it's the Fire Angel from my Maniper's Pot July Challenge winner, "Corwin of Amber". (I just had to reuse it _somewhere_...) I really put a lot of work into the Demoness, from the shoes to the Cyclops skulls to the flaming bra (I might do an R version of this with flames just on her nipples, I dunno...). The dog is from the Net, but I did make his collar. (Every Damned Dog needs a spiked collar...) The background I made from images off the Net, (Does that lava look familiar, Lief?), and yes, the Lavafall was intentional.
The working title for this was "Devil Dog", then I called him "Hot Dog", but I settled on "Sparky", the Fireman's Dalmatian. (Yes, I know he's not a Dalmatian. Why don't you tell him that?)

This was just a silly project I did in Poser a while back to celebrate 200 posts to a group I'm part of. It's based on a couple 'spoofed' characters from a shared fiction site, and has my sick, twisted worldview all over it. Thought y'all might enjoy it. ^_^ |

| Spidergirl- The Movie (Thora Birch as May Parker) Jedifan227 TV and Movies 2004/11/10 1:01 4534 4
Ok, this is a stretch. If they ever made a Spidergirl movie, this girl is perfect for the role of May Parker. I found this head shot just looking around for actresses, and had to do this manip. It was pretty simple, except for the spider-webs as usual. I loved the expression on her face, along with the correct hairstyle, and realized that she could easily be Spidergirl. I did this just as a quickie. ENJOY! |

| The Question? by Winterhawk Winterhawk DC Comics 2004/11/8 7:48 3798 10
Vic Sage - a.k.a. The Question. A really fast manip. The base image was really crappy, I tried to clean it up but then decided to leave it a little grainy to try to give the image that old detective movie look to it. I spent most of my time trying to make the quality of the background match the figure. Enjoy. |

| "Fame" - U-Go Girl, Orphan and Doop (Nov Challenge) Angelophile Marvel Comics 2004/11/8 3:15 3719 8
Okay, this is one of the manips I've been working on some time, but the November challenge theme prodded me to finish it off and submit it. Here we have the world's favourite mutants, U-Go Girl (depicted by Jennifer Jason Leigh) and The Orphan (Jude Law) along with Doop (a King Edwards potato) on the cover of Hello! celebrity magazine. Time just seemed too highbrow for them.
Even managed to sneak in Phat, (depicted by Eminem, who else?)
All work was done in Photoshop CS, the costumes Frankensteined as usual from dozens of different sources. Another manip that weighed in at around 120 layers.
I appreciate any comments. |

Well, this took almost three days work, but I think it was worth it. The scale-mail armor was a pain! I couldn't find any textures I liked, so I ended up making my own from scratch! I think it looks pretty cool, event though there is a heck of a lot of detail that is lost when I reduced it. I guess we can all see why she is called "BIG" Barda! Peace! -Leif. |

| Spiderman (Black Costume) Jedifan227 Marvel Comics 2004/11/5 22:50 2925 4
I wanted to do this for awhile now. It was fairly easy to do. I used a texture filter on top of a highlight, then added another highlight over that, to keep it looking real. The spider emblem was just cut and paste. Trying to do one from scratch was aggravating to say the least. But I like this emblem better, because it doesnt go all around his torso. I always hated that part of the design. I hope you like it. ENJOY!! |

| Legion of Super-Heroes Jover DC Comics 2004/11/4 17:54 8039 14
This is kind of a special manip for me in a couple of ways. Artistically, it has the most detail work I've ever tried to put into a piece. And as a comic fan, because it's a tribute to the first comic I ever read, an issue of Superboy starring the Legion of Super-Heroes.
