The P.R.I.D.E. (Haven't come up with a proper acronym yet) is a small group of genetically engineered super soldiers design to handle Paranormal activities, and crimes of a supernatural origin. Composed of 5 members the team's Original leader went rogue due to a genetic marker that was later determined to cause a high degree of insanity resulting in severe psychopathic behavior. Subsequently the leader killed his handler before he could be tested under field conditions. Code Named "Maneater" he is the primary concern of this group. The current roster includes (Pictured from left to right) Cheetah, Jagwire, Panterra, Alleycat, and Tigress, Each member excels in one area of expertise.
Team Overview, by Director Angella Crosby
Cheetah is incredibly fast achieving land speeds of up to Mach 3 although she is incapable of pinpoint maneuvers restricting her movements to straight lines only.
Jagwire is physically the weakest member of the group although his armor should more than compensate for this. However, he possesses a high degree of intelligence with an I.Q. measuring around 500 points (A conservative estimate) his current role is the designing of equipment and forensics.
Alleycat is a brute capable of lifting and estimated 100,000 tons and is invulnerable to all known weapons. He is impervious to all known diseases and viruses and is for intents and purposes indestructible. However, his phenomenal power comes at the cost of intellect having an I.Q. of about 80. Alleycats learning disability does not translate to combat and he is more than capable of following orders and is utterly fearless in combat situations.
Tigress is the teams combat leader and instructor she is a more than capable hand to hand combatant trained in over 20 forms of martial arts including, Ninjitsu, Aikido, Tai-Chi, Jeet Kun do, Karate, Tiger style Kung Fu, Savat, Jusjitsu, to name just a few. She is the team's second in command and would be leader if not for her temper and inclination to fly into rages of anger. This may become a problem later however, for now at least she is controllable and this has not interfered with her performance in the field.
Update: The creation of a new leader has been sanctioned and is warranted by the recent assault on the U.N. by "Maneater", resulting in a catastrophic loss of life and the destruction of the U.N. building and everything within 25 miles. The new team leader has been designated "Panterra"
Panterra has been designed (To a degree) to represent the combined abilities of each of his teammates and while he does not outperform each of them in their field of expertise he is outperforms them in every other way.
Speed: While he is not as fast as cheetah he can still attain speeds of up to Mach 1.5 on land and make pinpoint maneuvers.
Intelligence: While not as intelligent as Jagwire Panterra does boast an I.Q. of 376 and is a more than capable forensic expert.
Strength: Panterra does not possess the phenomenal strength or invulnerability of Alleycat though he is capable of withstanding most attacks utilizing his Adamantine-composite armor. Panaterrea is capable of lifting 15 tons without the assistance of his armor and up to 80 tons with.
Combat: Panterra is clearly no match for Tigress in combat but he is hardly helpless. He has already mastered 12 forms of Martial art including those previously listed under Tigress' entry.
Panterra has shown none of the side-effects that the "Maneater" project demonstrated and has been judged "a stable and viable subject" it is the recommendation of this office that the team be placed into active service immediately. Further it is the determination of this office that the team should no longer require "Handlers" as they have each clearly demonstrated that they are capable and loyal agents.

| Washington DC [later]- Although they held the superior numbers Thunderbolt Allison and his valiant team of S.T.A.R.S were no match for the pure destructive powers of the Kumitae-KR1. Minutes later he had downed the entire S.A.S [STARS Attack Squadron] and had now turned his full attention to Thunderbolt and his Super Agents, Thunderkick & Sheba. However the C.L.A.W High Council, seeing that their Assassin Wars were about to become a moot point, sent in their own ringer...Cybernaut-X. The irony of this all is that the Kumitae-KR1 was specially built by the Weaponers to replace the original Cybernaut when the High Council became dissatisfied with his performance. Andy didn't care, and for the first time in his life he was happy to see a C.L.A.W Termination Unit! |

EMT or Energy Matter Transmission is technology that converts matter into energy which is then transmitted along a beam to be coalesced at the target point. If any obstacle is at the target point already like say s wall, the results can be catastrophic and often fatal. When in doubt one simply has 2 options: Go into the target area via regular routes, or Transmit to the nearest suitable location, folks usually choose the latter.
In this scene Obsidian and Cobalt (we haven't really seen a lot of Harley) are EMT'd into a starship while travelling through a nebula. Landing on the launch deck they're probably gonna get caught...a damned shame for whoever happens to be catching them...Especially since Harley is sporting his new Cobalt power armor...a damned shame.
Edit: Effects improved glow rings added to EMT beams at surface contact point, EMT Beam Improved less opaque recolored, fog removed, windows on ships changed to black, glowing effects added to interior lights. |

The Heigaran, are a a species of evolved feline who are one the most technologically advanced species within the five galaxies. They are most known for their highly advanced cybernetics and power armor which are incredibly powerful by any standards. Heigarans are quite fond of Solarans and Katarans as well as Ailoo and have an uneasy alliance with Lunari and Lycanthos. The average Heigaran stands an impressive 7 feet tall and weighs in around 500-600 lbs. Heigaran society is well a organized Patriarchy with a single Emperor ruling their world Hegarans are quite beastial having Beast like legs Claws and large sharp fangs the later two of which they use with deadly efficiency. Heigarans consider Biting and Clawing to be more than acceptable forms of combat and have been known to hunt with these natural weapons when better weapons are unavailable. Heigaran have an immense sense of personal honor and most can be taken at their word. As one would expect they are easily offended and seek satisfaction for even an imagined slight. Heigaran are also fierce warriors and revel in combat...they are not to be taken lightly when in combat and have perfected it to an art form.

| Obsidian Mask, aka Michael Todd, was not born a Luminesti elf, in fact he was born human although he does not remember it that way. The reason he doesn't remember it is the very reason he is an elf at all. The transformation spell that made him an elf and granted him immortality also removed any trace of humanity from him. He truly believes that he was always an elf, adopted by human parents through some accident in the 20th century he thinks he was raised as a human and therefore has human values and a human outlook. Elves for their part, recognize that there is something not quite right about him and are immediately put off by him. As a result they are not very favorable towards him and some are downright hateful towards him, except for Celestial elves who have no inclination one way or the other which raises many questions. As for other Luminesti elves...they don't like him...and while elder Luminesti (1,000 + years old or more) know why, younger Luminesti do not and no matter how much respect he earns few if any Luminesti elves will ever befriend him. As for the genetics of the situation Obsidian is for all intents and purposes a true Luminesti Elf and any coupling will result as it would for any other Luminesti. As a result of his estrangement, Obsidian has only been allowed on the Luminesti Homeworld (Pictured) twice. |

Sprites are tiny humanoid creatures that have insect-like wings and antenna. They possess magical abilities and are known for their love of practical jokes.They can turn invisible at will and have the ability to cast "Phantom noise" as often as they like. They live in large communities in dense forests where few creatures can venture although it is important to note that when their habitats are destroyed they can and do dwell in modern societies. They are often mistaken for Faeries however, Faeries are half the size of a Sprite and have gossamer wings and calling a Sprite a Faerie is to Sprites, a great insult. Sprites have a non-winged cousin called a Pixie who are otherwise identical in every way. Sprites can fly at speeds up to 25 mph or in short bursts (5 feet or less) of up to 75 mph. Sprites speak the dominant language of whatever world they live on, they use only the most primitive of technologies as they have no forging skills and few technologies are micronized enough for them to use effectively. On the planet D'Enebrius 6 the Sprites there are well equipped to that of the intergalactic standard and have miniature star-ships that are far more powerful then their full sized counterparts. No ship entering into their territory has survived any battle with their tiny fleet and nothing else is know about them as they are extreme Xenophobes.

I must admit, I had my worries during this year's Halloween Teamups. When I was informed at the 11th hour by my partner (who still hadn't started yet) that he would be doing less than we'd initially discussed, I had some concerns. I was preparing for the worst, figuring if my partner can't pull through then I will hoist him over my shoulder and carry his drunk ass across the finish line.  As it turns out, my worry was unnecessary as Jr. pulled through right at the last minute, churning out yet another one of his brilliant and meticulously detailed costumes.
So anyway, this was my version of the Halloween pic though I still have to thank Jr. for the terrific model choice for Wonder Woman's superboots and especially for showing me the correct foot pose settings for putting a man in high heels!  I don't know how you knew that (I thought I knew posing!) but it is a great detail; that it is correct and looks so wrong is still one of the funniest parts of the pic to me! Thanks Jr! |
