| The Batmaster

The Batmaster...not inspired by Batman though it is understandable how one could draw that conclusion, but rather from the show "Hey Arthur" which featured a scary character they called the Batmaster. I stole the name and revamped the character as a hero. Batmaster is a Vampire who has what vampires call "Day Walker Syndrome". This is a fancy way of saying that he has never tasted adrenaline which is known to be highly addictive to vampires. The need for adrenaline is why vampires frighten their victims before feasting on their blood and is why vampires are so cruel there is no known cure for this additiction and it's hold is very nearly unbreakable.
Batmaster while still requiring blood to survive, only takes blood from willing victims, under the pretense of medical research. Multi-Billionaire Erik Vladamirov has lived for hundreds of years and seen many marvels from the invention of electricity to FTL travel through it all he has maintained his cover. Even when Vampires were unmasked before mankind he still managed to keep his terrible secret. During the millennium wars he felt compelled to help his galaxy combat the Sathari empire in the guise of the Batmaster which awakened in him an adventurous heroic spirit he never knew existed. Now disguised as the crime fighter Batmaster he prowls the night hunting Vampires and other threats to makind with his allies "The Scions of Justice". |

Daz Genesis and Millenium Dog are the models used in this dance. Journeyer Scout pants and shirt for By-Tor. His medallion is from M4 Evilson. Genesis Bracers also used. Torch, dagger, crown and cape I made in Hexagon. Background made in Bryce, characters rendered in DS4. Gate from Stonemason's Graveyard set. Garibaldi Hair Plug-In for D/S also used. |

I finally cobbled together a Hawkeye costume [thanks to Joe Quick on the cowl and Cosplay on the sash and arm and wrist bands]. Hawkeye was always one of my favourites: loved the costume. Never liked it when he lost the cowl. I hope you enjoy.

excuse the title but actually each reference to this character is correct..i'm just not sure which one fits best. anyway i did a render of this guy wayyyyyy back when i first started messing with 3D using P4 figures. i had always wanted to revisit him when my skills improved. unfortunately the first one i did is no longer in my gallery so you just have to take my word that this is indeed an upgrade.  |

First casting a mediocre looking gal that makes that toothless alcoholic Kirsten Dunst look good, then completely editing her out the final cut?! Rrrrrrrrrr! I was origianlly gonna draw Fanboy as Spidey (again) and MJ as herself (dressed as she first appeared in Amazing Spider-Man #42 & 43) going to see the sequel but when I heard about what they've done with her, I thought "Screw them, I'm drawing it like I originally wanted to!" So, anyway, here it is. [I'm still gonna check out the movie this weekend though.] |

I really have nothing against blonds, heck I'm one myself, as are all my kids, it just kind of happened that this tale keeps bringing misfortune to these characters and that they share a hair color, so I've been running with it. Perhaps it's just another way for me to express my own misfortunes in life into my art by having a couple of hapless unlucky guys with similar traits to me get downtrodden again and again. Don't worry though, as I know that life will turn around for the best for myself, so too will it for these characters too.
