She has created an array of advanced weaponry, and has built numbers of humanoid robots. She created a chemical serum to transform normal humans into werewolves under her control and has used concentrated pheromones to control men through her allure. Nightshade apparently secretes chemical pheromones from her body that affect the will of certain animals, including werewolves, making them obedient to her commands. She first appeared in Captain America #164 |

"Kat" -- otherwise known as Katie J -- has been a main character from the beginning of the comic book series. When we first saw her years ago in BANZAI GIRL #1, she was a feisty little kid of about 12 years old.
Now, in the issue that will be released next year, Kat is all grown up and working for the government organization where her stepfather (who is Banzai Girl's Dad) also works -- and where she proved herself to be such a natural adventurer.
In this sequence, aided by Wilfred, Kat is on a hunt to find her kidnapped former school chum. She's discovering that all of Jinky's friends and family are being victimized.
The hunt is on!
