| I haven't been inspired to do any posts lately so i figured i'd do something for the holiday. besides it was a good opportunity to use the very seldom used P4 Posette figure and some new props i picked up. This was more or less an experiment using the Fog Deluxe III item to simulate flame. I suppose i could have devoted more time to pose the flames better but like i said..the inspiration level is wayyy down. btw, no postwork done. |

Tula is the first canonical Aquagirl. After losing her parents soon after her birth, she is found and adopted by one of the royal families of Atlantis. Given the title of princess of Poseidonis, Tula is schooled in Atlantean traditions. She never leaves the royal palace until she meets Aqualad at age 15.
Notes: My first manip since the great Drawing Pad RMA fiasco. For the most part a standard manip in my style. Two exceptions: I tried to add some wrinkles. Also, in an attempt to give it an underwater feel, I added air bubbles and a blue "filter" effect. I hope it worked.

A fellow I work with is an independent filmmaker and wanted a birthday present for his cinematographer cohort. They are both big fans of the late Stan Winston and he wanted a drawing of several of Stan's most famous creations, not to mention a couple director peers, standing around his grave.
This is the result.
If he even wants it, I will probably just give it to him. I wouldn't feel right charging for this. |

Her's my elf again, Silver, taking on a werewolf in downtown Detroit. (Yes, this is an occurrence that could happen in the Shadowrun universe.) I know the lighting sucks, as it's one of the things I'm having the hardest time learning, but I imagine this to be a scene late at night, under a street light, with no one else around. She's a wizard with blades and brass knuckles, which from this point of view are obscured in shadow. And the wolf is in a generic pose because every time I tried to move him my machine locked up for a bout 5 minutes so I just said 'To hell with it.' :P
Also, her sword is quite ordinary but her brass knuckles are impregnated with pure silver, meaning they can't stop a hit for crap but she can punch holes in weres and vampires alike, her only other advantage being her agility, as she's faster than pretty much anything on the street or in the shadows.
This took 6 hours to render... eeesh...

Here is a Fairy I just etched on a mirror. It is Blurry because I was picking up the reflection of the surface etch in the actual mirrored backing. Yeah, that might not make sense.
