Sleeping under the trees on Yoshino mountain

Torn between two cultures, or maybe greater than the sum of those parts; Ana Ishikawa blazed a path of glory during the "bad girl" period of comics (mid 1990's).
Seeking to avenge her father's murder at the hands of the Yakuza, Ana was trained by her grandfather to be a warrior and assassin second to none.
Notes: Another character I have been chomping at the bit to do. In a departure form my usual 3/4 to full body manips I chose a close up to capture the violent harmony of Shi's beauty, grace, and violent edge.
I chose to keep the models original hair color becaue I felt it blended in better with the background, rather than Shi's jet black.
The make up choice comes from one of my favorite SHI drawings, which harkens to the color of the Kabuki stage rather than her typical pure white.

I love this character so I had to do her again. This was harder because I didn't know how to show the attachment of the wings since I really cannot draw or anything. I kinda faked it. I was happy with the overall outcome though. The wings and sparkles were again made with brushes from Obsidian Dawn.

Ghost: Hi everybody!, another image I had done a few weeks ago. I wanted to start working on ships and some other stuff, putting it all together guys. the comic is coming as time permits. Im working on the storyline and doing some more research, I am also doing some character break downs. Im as you all know using low-res models and at this point Ive had to use 2 programs that Ive never used, one to change the models from Gmax to 3ds and another to switch the maps to a readable format in cs2.
All rendered in max/ post and filters, touch-ups
CS2. Thanks for all the feed back means alot;) CHEERs.

Here is a "new" photo manipulation. I started this at the end of August 2004 (  believe me !), just after the Olympic Games of Athens. I decided to finish it, what I did at the end of this month and so 4 years later, just after the Olympic Games!
This time, it's up to Karen McDougal to be the model. Hopefully she looks like "Wonder Woman" . I hope you enjoy! |

With the possible exception of Hawkman and Hawkgirl/woman, I can't think of another character with a more confusing or convoluted continuity than Power Girl. Originally from Earth-2 retconned to an Atlantean (after COIE) then back to Earth-2 (Infiite Crisis)poor Kara must need one hell of a therapist.
She is now chairperson of the JSA (New Earth)and doing what she does best, kicking butt.
I have followed her adventures for years: Old JSA runs, Infinity Inc. etc.; and have wanted to do a manip of her since I started this lunacy.
NOTES: I went with the PG as envisioned by Alex Ross in Kingdom Come, more muscular and harder features. The uniform is a series of layers using a desaturated portion of the models body to heighten detail over the white uniform. The background is Frankensteined from NASA photos and of course Christopher Reeve plays the roles of Earth-1's and Earth-2's Supermen.

I wanted to do one of her because she's hot as drawn by Greg Land in recent issues. I changed the clothes from gray to blue and yellow to resemble the X-Men costume. I was really happy with the hair on this one.
The wings and sparkles came from brush sets I got at Obsidian Dawn and were created by Stephanie Shimerdla.
