*OK here is the colored version.
This is my entry into the Extreme Heromorph Makeover 2. I will update this with a colored version in a couple days but I wanted to go ahead and get it on here. I won't specify who its based on. Hopefully its obvious. Especially with the clue in the title. |

| Don't keep me waiting... For Tart Masterchief Fantasy 2008/6/24 13:33 2827 8
This is for Tart, He has a thing for chicks with glasses. This is Druscilla I found her over at 3DC and she is beautifully Goth. A woman doesn't have to be stuffed into a latex shell to be sexy, I think this is one of the sexiest pieces I have done, because it doesn't scream it out loud. |

| Octavia LordKuyohashi TV and Movies 2008/6/24 13:29 3453 9
For some reason I've been reminiscing about a very obscure '80's cartoon called 'TigerSharks'. Kinda like ThunderCats or SilverHawks, but with fish...probably the same production studio, so that explains the braintrust in motifs. The whole point was scientists who become fish-people to protect some water-covered world from some dessicated pirate-mummy, I think.
Anyways, as was par the coarse in the '80's, the only character worth two figs was the one female with weird hair and the least annoying voice, and in this case, it was Octavia.
On a purely tangential note, damn, that background nearly broke me. |

| Airbrushed Wonder Woman joshmc DC Comics 2008/6/23 21:25 4335 10
This started as a black and white tonal exercise that later got coloured. The design is based of one of my earlier WW photo manipulations but with some further tweaks. Not really a big fan of airbrushing as I like to see artistic strokes but I thought I'd try something different. Used a stock image as reference from Marcus Ranum over at Deviant Art (http://mjranum-stock.deviantart.com), about 12 hours work I'd say for the black and white portion and about 90 mins or so for the colouring. |

| Batman watercolour test ODS DC Comics 2008/6/23 18:04 3016 5
Inspired by the fantastic work of Dustin Nguyen (duss005.deviantart.com), I decided to try my hand at watercolours. This is the first time I've attempted to use watercolours since I was in high school, so while the pic isn't that great, I'm still pleased with it. I didn't prepare the paper beforehand and I think it might have looked smoother if I had. I enjoyed the process, though, so I will definitely be trying more of these as time permits. |

| Ethan Edwards DAGhoul Marvel Comics 2008/6/23 12:56 2202 3
In "Amazing Spider-Man", they introduced a Super Skrull called The Tiller. He was Ethan Edwards who was raised in a Christian family and always thought he was Human until the Fantastic Four realized he was a Skrull. Tiller is the 1st of the new Super Skrulls (I know, I messed up here with the powers) in that he has all of the powers of Superman (as well as a similar origin). Except, because he believes in Christ so much, God blessed him with another power: the ability to heal. |

| WONDER WOMAN Hisstoryman DC Comics 2008/6/22 21:33 3319 4
My first try at the Amazon princess herself. Not too shabby. She stands on Mount Olympus with the gods looking on her with approval.
Notes: This is one of the few times I have ever "Frankensteined" the model. I tried to stick to my unwritten rule that my heroes, and especially during this Wonder Woman kick I am on, that the model must be of the specific ethnic origin I am trying to represent. So, in this case at least some part of the model had to be Greek.
The choice of head was from Greek supermodel Evi Adam; and the body is adult film star Laura Lion. The original pics will be uploaded to the Cookie Jar.
The uniform is, for better or for worse, fully hand drawn. The only exception is for the stars on her bottom and the one in the tiara.
Behind her are the heads of the Greek Gods, taken from the film Clash of the Titans. |

| World Tour in Comics: Denmark OCP Other Comics 2008/6/22 0:24 3251 6
Student Arno Olsen, fed up with the world's corrupt and political ways, decides to become a superhero to save mankind. He has an "accident" involving a potion in his school laboratory, granting him super powers. He is then given a superhero license by the superhero license office in Copenhagen, and begins to fight crime as Dukse Drengen His main enemy is the money worshipping Count Scroogeness. I tried to find out who created this charater but the only thing I could find was that his debut was on a parody TV show before gaining his own comic from the danish Cool Comics. | Now we all know... VagabondX Marvel Comics 2008/6/21 20:08 2294 5
why I rarely draw the Hulk. But hey, at least I get to see him with body hair. I've always thought he should either have body hair or have NO hair at all. I mean, doesn't exposure to radiation make hair fall out? Or if it doesn't affect him like that than shouldn't he have more body hair since all his other natural aspects are augmented?
Oh yeah I forgot...hulk smash. |

| Rogue thestarkiller Marvel Comics 2008/6/21 19:32 3696 7
The delectable Gauge as Rogue. Although, from her movies, we all know that Gauge can be touched, but she still leaves you drained afterwards. Pulled this image from our very own cookie jar.
Do you guys think I should try adding the bulky leather jacket? It seemed like it would be a bit much considering how much space she's taking up in the picture. |

Well I was sittin' in traffic yesterday for a LONG while (NY traffic sheesh) behind this pick up truck that had one of those little stickers on his window of Calvin pissin' on a Ford logo, you know the ones . . . well it inspired me to do this piece (don't worry there WILL be a DC version as well) it didn't take very long, but it was way fun . . . =0)
ARTIST NOTE: Was never too thrilled with the airbrushed version of this, so I did it this way instead.

| FOR BHM Orange haired beauty Masterchief Fantasy 2008/6/21 11:11 2815 4
This is for BHM He always has something positive to say to everyone even when when my art is WWWAAAYYY out there So here is a pin-up just for him, no bondage, no ballgags, or metal tentical with probes attached. I even toned down her chest a little, although I did have to make her outfit latex, because that is what I am know for! Hope you like it buddy, and thanks for being the site cheerleader, of sorts! The Orange hair, well to explain that one is easy, I saw some bondage photos where the model was wearing an Orange wig and for some rteason that really looked sexy to me so I used it on this render. P.S.: I fixed the poke through that Chaosoutlaw pointed out for those of you that don't see it any more

| All growed up. VagabondX TV and Movies 2008/6/19 16:47 2946 9
Ok long story:
Over on DeviantArt(Are we allowed to mention other artsites?)one of my friends 'tagged' me to join in on this...thing. Its hard to describe what it was. I think people refer to them as meme's? But I'm old, I don't know what that means. It was a vertical row of images done by different people showing all or one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Apparently, the originator did one and then proceeded to 'tag' someone who had to do one and subsequently 'tag' someone else. Etcetera, etcetera. Anyway, I hadn't drawn the Turtles in a while so I figured I would give it a go. The preceeding artists had all done well at depicting the Turtles in their 'normal' looks so I did one of them...grown up I guess? I don't know, I just drew them more seriously I guess you could say. Plus, I thought it might be cool to only do color on their bandanna/masks.
Anyway, I get it done in my usual mode, i.e. drawing and inking it on paper and then scanning it in to color on photoshop. I add it to the line of artwork and post it. Only to find out that it was supposed to be done completely on the computer. So I just figured I would post it by itself. And then I thought that I haven't been posting anything here regularly for a while(Lack of inspiration) so I would post it here as well.
Sorry for the overexplanation. I tend to be paranoid about explaining things. |
