Growing up the daughter of Green Lantern John Stewart and Hawkgirl was not easy. Her mother firmly prohibited any intent to use her unique powers, whilst her father secretly trained her in the use of his ring.
But when the Green Lantern Corps recruits her as protector of New Thanagar's sector, she accepts her father's ring, not knowing that by doing so, she has sealed the fate of her parents marriage and created a new group of enemies in the planet she heads off to protect.
 Base model is Tyra Banks with extensive surgery by Dr Frankenstein. enjoy

| I feel I should specify that this character isn't affiliated with any religious leaders. Well, except God and Jesus of course. Obviously its affiliated with Christianity but no, it isn't the Pope or any other leader in the costume. The character isn't even Catholic. Its just an anonymous Christian person with superpowers who sees the powers as being from God and meant to help people. The hammer is a mystic weapon that is unable to make contact with any living things. It just passes through them so that he can't injure any people with it. It can, however, impact spiritual beings. Demons, angels, etc. And inanimate objects. I only added all of this info because people on other sites had made comments that it was funny to see the Pope as a superhero which this most definitely is NOT! |

The four figures in the background are the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, which would be kinda ironic, considering who one of them is. |

The kids of Power Pack (worst.superhero group. ever.) where looking forward to a nice, quiet Halloween... when they heard a hard knock on the door and someone shout "Trick or Treat!" Better hope they still have some candy left to give. Or not. 
(I could go on and on about the many troubles I had making this one; but I'll just say that I had to make a it a sloppy, quick pic or not post at all for halloween. Oh, and I colored it on a PC with poorly calibrated monitor. So if it looks like shit... do tell me.) |

For Lady Death Week!
This image started around 2 years or so ago.
Jr was rather new to the site and had just finished a picture and was trying to think of something new to do and asked for a request (this was before we knew he was lazy). I asked him for Lady death.
A couple weeks went by and Jr showed me the base image and he had done some plans for the image, sketching it out. When he wanted to know who should be giving it to Lady Death. Evil ernie's name came up. A couple more weeks went by and Jr showed me the progress. During this time Jr had gotten fellow trouble maker and 3d guru Matrix Blur to render a skeleton and place it over the body of the male in the base image.
Another couple weeks went by and Jr. said he was bored with the image and wasn't going to do anymore. So I asked him to send it over my way. At this point the image had Jr's sketches the skeleton frame work for ernie as well as ernies arms, hands and jacket arms done as well as a number of paths and channels to use for selection.
Jr sent the file over to me were I started working on it. I painted the hair and then saved the file. And I haven't worked on it again until this week. I noticed that it was Lady Death week so I thought "Hey I have that 1/5 finished lady death image that Jr and Matrix started, I should finish that one."
And so I did. And here it is. It isn't quite as fancy as Jr's original plan but I don't paint no stinkin zippers and it actually got finished
After finishing the adult version a couple days a go, I decided to do a non-adult version of the image to post in the regular gallery for everyone to enjoy. |
