When astronaut Steve Austin is severely injured in the crash of an experimental aircraft, he is “rebuilt” in an operation that costs six million dollars. His right arm, both legs and the left eye are replaced with "bionic" implants that enhance his strength, speed and vision far above human norms: he can run at speeds of 60 mph (97 km/h), and his eye has a 20:1 zoom lens and infrared capabilities, while his limbs all have the equivalent power of a bulldozer. He uses his enhanced abilities to work for the OSI (Office of Scientific Intelligence) as a secret agent.~

~Benjamin “Jacob” Grimm grew up in poverty in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, New York. He had a terribly rough life, a drunk jobless father and brother who was a gang member in the Yancy Street Gang. His parents sustained themselves with help from Ben’s brother Dan who got his money by nefarious means.
Ben’s life took a dramatic turn when his brother was killed by a rival gang. Ben joined the Yancy Street Gang and eventually became it’s leader, but tragedy struck again when his parents were killed and Ben was forced to move in with his Uncle Jake and Aunt Alyce Grimm. His Uncle was a doctor and offered Ben a much more stable life, which Ben refused at first, but slowly Ben came around to the love and care that his family offered. He went to High School and became a football star, getting a scholarship to local Empire University.
While at the university, Ben was the roommate of Reed Richards, a science major. Although vastly different, the odd couple hit it off and became fast friends. When Ben heard of Reeds plan for building a starship he even offered to be the pilot.
After graduating, Ben did just that, he joined the military and became a pilot. He went on to be one of the best test pilots they had and even went on to train as an astronaut. Meanwhile, Reed was working on his starship plans and when he came into funding problems, Reed asked Ben to fulfill his promise years ago in college and help him pilot the ship. Ben was reluctant at first as he thought the shielding might be insufficient to protect them from radiation. Reed talked Ben into it however and they recruited Reed’s girlfriend Sue and her kid brother Johnny to accompany them.
Everything was fine until the ship was dosed in Cosmic Rays, which penetrated the ship and irradiated the crew. Upon landing, Ben and rest of the crew discovered that the Cosmic Rays had somehow changed their very genetic structure. While the other retained their human shape, Ben changed into an orange monstrous creature. Sue announced upon seeing Ben change, “He’s turned into a--some sort of a thing!” The four decided to use their new abilities for mankind and formed the Fantastic Four, a team dedicated to scientific discover and serving the world.~

| Peaceful, and sedentary, are words commonly used to describe halflings. Halflings are descended from both Elves and Dwarves and until only recently were the two races "Dirty Little Secret". This combination was not thought possible due to the unlikelihood of the two species ever mating as both races have a strong dislike for the other in general (specific friendships not withstanding). Halflings possess abilities from both Dwarves and Elves and are aproximately the average height of the two being smaller than elves but larger than dwarves. Halflings have exceptional agilitysimilar to many elf species and are exceptionally hearty as are dwarves. They can see exceptionally well in darkness. Their hearing is also quite exceptional just like elves. Most folks believe Halflings to be simple folk and while that is mostly true many halfling adventurers do exist most of which are thieves of some note. |

| Before he became a spacefaring mercenary elf, Obsidian was a human adventurer and was stranded on a backwater world of medieval time period. There he learned about magic and all things enchanted. The vehicle pictured is actually a magical construct of notable power and is currently housed on a private space station owned by the Zero-Men. One might notice that Obsidian's armor is a bit different from the current design this is due to constant improvements made on a regular basis. |

~Jennifer Walters, the cousin of Bruce Banner (Hulk), is the small and somewhat shy daughter of Los Angeles County Sheriff William Morris Walters and Elaine (née Banner) Walters (who died in a car crash when Jennifer was seventeen). Operatives of Nicholas Trask, a crime boss who had crossed paths with her father, shot and seriously wounded her on a day that Bruce Banner happened to be in town for a visit. Since no other donors with her blood type were available, Banner provided his own blood for a transfusion; as they already shared the same blood type and DNA, his radioactive blood, combined with her anger transformed Jennifer into the green-skinned She-Hulk when the mobsters tried to finish her off at the hospital.
As She-Hulk, Jennifer possessed powers similar to those of her cousin, though at a reduced level. She also possessed a less monstrous, more amazonian appearance. Initially, the transformation to her She-Hulk form was triggered (as with Bruce Banner's) by anger. Like her cousin Bruce, his counterpart, the Leader, Doc Samson, and most other persons mutated by exposure to Gamma Radiation over the years, her mutated form was originally explained as being molded by her subconscious desire to look like the ideal woman. She eventually gains control of her transformations when Michael Morbius cures her of a lethal blood disease. As a criminal defense lawyer, she defended Dr. Michael Morbius in his trial for his vampiric killings.
Eventually, Jennifer decides that she is going to retain her She-Hulk form permanently—preferring the freedom, confidence, and assertiveness that it gave her compared to her more timorous and fragile "normal" form. After her brief solo career, she joined the Avengers. This led to her being transported to Battleworld by the Beyonder and her participation in the Secret Wars, most notable for sparking her long standing rivalry with the newly empowered Titania. After the heroes returned to Earth, she temporarily replaced the Thing as a member of the Fantastic Four.
During her tenure with the Fantastic Four, She-Hulk had to prevent a radiation leak in a downed S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier. This radiation exposure had a drastic effect on Jennifer: she could no longer transform back into her original human form. However, this was an agreeable turn of events for her, since she preferred being She-Hulk, and it was revealed much later that the block was purely psychological.
Shortly after that, she appeared before the Supreme Court, where she battled Titania again.~

| Nekronimus, is a being of pure energy...and rage. Bradley Williams was once a galactically renowned scientist, known for his work in the field of sub-atomic nano research, until a fateful accident befell him. While attempting to unlock the secrets of anti-matter energy Bradley's became sealed in his magnetic suit which, when combined with his known potential for genetic aberration transformed him into the unstoppable juggernaut Nekronimus. He found he was able to release blasts of incredible energy and that he could absorb unheard of quantities of any type of energy directed at him. His scientific marvel turned to horror when he realized that he would be forever trapped within the confines of his magnetic environmental suit, never to know the touch of another human being again. His rage exploded at doctors and those around him he began lashing out at the world, killing indiscriminately anyone within eyesight. To his horror those whose lives he ended instantly rose as powerful undead, mindless and obedient, and crackling with energy. this army of undead has grown and subsided over the years and it is not known how many of these undead minions remain at his disposal. What is known is that Nekronimus has the ability to raise a single undead to normal intelligence and at twice the power of his other minions. HIs motives vary depending on what his most current goal is but one thing is certain: he searches for a cure that will allow him to keep his newfound powers. It is worth noting that power-nullifiers do not seem to be effective against Nekronimus as they are again typical Genetic Abberations since they cannot directly contact his body as he has no real body to speak of.. |

Matriarchs are incredibly powerful and skilled succubi with all the powers of their sisters the only real difference is in their raw physical power and mastery of both magical and martial arts. |

| This was my first Batman render and first publishing of my version of Batgirl. I have never gone back and reworked a render before as I prefer to use what little time I have for this hobby to work on new things. But I really liked this image and I think a simple cropping of the original image from its elongated landscape size improves it significantly; so I have, for the first time, replaced an image with a cropped version of that same image. I think only showing the side of the Batmobile helps address the juxtaposition of the "classic" car from the more modern Batman. The fact the "classic" Batgirl just got trashed, also helps I think bridge the gap. |

Just watched Winter Soldier in one of those new theatre seats that make you feel every punch...what a great movie, very relevant to today's situation, and very reminiscent of the 1970s Cap & Falcon versus 1950s Cap & Bucky storyline back in the day. Anyway the scene of the Scarlett Witch at the end inspired me to try digging online again for a Scarlet Witch headress, and thanks to Cosplay at ShareCG I found one and a Hawkeye, who was always one of my faves. So I was inspired to do my first render since I did Thor and Enchantress a while back. Fun! Also, checking the comments to some awesome pics on this site I was directed to a place for a great Hawkeye bow, so he will figure prominently in my next render.
