| The GUYVER StarChild Other Comics 2008/3/10 21:04 3017 6
I've been using outdated figures for my last couple of renders as well as some made by 3rd party peeps. Surprisingly the figures haven't looked that bad in my renders. Here's another offbeat figure that I found somewhere over the internet. I'd love to give credit to the vendor but I got this so long ago I couldn't remember where or how I got it. Anyways...hope you like. |

| Darth Vexis Yunners Sci-fi 2008/3/10 17:20 4163 11
A sequel of sorts to The Sith Holocron pic I churned out a couple of months ago.
Edit: I re-rendered with different shaders, changed the hair and I improved the postwork somewhat. I am a lot happier with this version. |

Rendered in poser 7 I'm developing a comic style that gives you a sketchy look with 3d renders all done with the poser sketch render and layering in photoshop |

| Don't Fear The Reaper Tartanninja DC Comics 2008/3/9 13:00 3402 11
I had all the pieces to make my own version of Death from the Sandman comic book series. Thanks to Winterhawk for making the Adara texture. She was perfect for this render. You can find her in the Heromorph Store. Just click the Downloads link at the top of the page. |

I was inspired to do a manip of this character after all of Vampire Lover's recent postings of the Blair drawings.

It?s been awhile since I last visited the Heromorph site and I must say that I am pleasantly surprised at all the changes. I offer this image to celebrate Heromorph?s metamorphosis and of course, my return.
It would seem that someone made a wrong turn on the overhead bridge and quickly found their car accelerating in a direction that it wasn?t designed for. Supergirl manages to put the car on cruise control in a timely manner.

| The Thrill of the Chase sturkwurk Marvel Comics 2008/3/7 9:37 3208 9
Buildings are by Stonemason (BackStreets at Daz3d) and Predatron (City Streets at artzone)
Lights are by Angela3d from her Illuminati light set at daz3d (what a freaking lightset!! OVER THREE THOUSAND LIGHT Presets for Poser 5+! sheesh)
Black Cat is V4 with Sapphire Fox hair by Quarker. Pose by sturkwurk from an upcoming Comic Heroine Pose set from Daz3d.
Spider-man is David 3, textures by sturkwurk, mask geometry by Sharby, Pose by sturkwurk from CitySwinger Pose set for D3 and M3.
Sky was rendered in Vue 6 and imported as a background into Poser 7.
Entire image was rendered in Poser 7, including the Depth of Field - at full size 3520 x 1200 it took 3 hours to render. I did have to post work a few touch ups on Black Cat's fur and hair and Spidey's Left webline. I've also tweaked some of the specular highlights on the black cat and brightened up a few windows in the background. |

| Lucy efindel Original Characters 2008/3/7 6:04 2463 2
Basic idea is: what if Lucy from Dracula survived and became a vampire hunter?
Character body and texture is "Van Elsa" from "The Hunter and the Hunted" for Aiko 3 at Renderosity. Stake and cross are from the same set. Graveyard is a freebie called "Cemetery of the Rejected"; I don't remember where I found it. Hair is "Nora Bob Hair", also available at Renderosity.
Pose and expression are my own work. Enjoy! |

| Battle Ready Diana Chup@Cabra DC Comics 2008/3/6 19:45 3643 6
My take on Princess Diana in her Battle Armor.
She if often shown in some type of armor in the comics, and often that 'armor' is about as effective as Red Sonja's (just not as revealing ).
I'll probably do more with her in this set (and sans certain parts of it ^_^) in the future. |
|
| Dynamatrix matrixblur Fantasy 2008/3/6 16:36 5675 10

Who'll be Batgirl ten years from now? Rebecca Langstrom, daughter of Kirk"Man-Bat"Langstrom,that's who! She uses super-hearing and glider wings to help out the Bats. P.S.-the city pic wasn't too good,so I used Watercolor Filter on it. Hope it worked!

I always thought this was the stupidest idea for a super power! Fire hair? No wonder it's so long. Can't cut it! It was actually kind of fun to do though.
The image is a poser character combined with a lot of photoshop work and some frankensteining from a Starfire picture by an artist named Turner. |

| Dr. Manhattan Wasmith Other Comics 2008/3/4 15:57 14165 11
Gender bender of what Dr. Manhattan might have looked like if he had been a woman instead. This would be during the "still wears a costume" period.
A Watchmen movie is due out about 1 year from today. Here's hoping they don't screw up one of the greatest comic novels of all time.
The model is Iga.

| Plex, the killer-droid joshuaoman Sci-fi 2008/3/3 20:51 2467 2
Continuing on with my own SW characters, we have Plex, the killer droid. Pretty much the only thing he can do is kill, but he's pretty good at it.
This character is a POSER model that I completely designed. The base model was a stick figure, but I added a lot of props (like a clock for his chest) and did some Photoshopping to improve his face. |

| Taking a breather... outlaw2LK Marvel Comics 2008/3/3 18:12 2302 5
OK, I spent almost 8 hours on this trying to get used to my new WACOM tablet! This was completely sketched, outlined, and colored just using the tablet. I know that it may suck compared to some of the tablet vets' work, but this was my 3rd attempt. I hope to get some pointers so I can keep practicing. The 1st attempt was practicing signing my name and the second was just crap. HA
I know, I know, I've been away for a very very long time. I've just been lurking. Gotta get back into the contests here at HM. |

| Why me? Masterchief Fantasy 2008/3/3 8:02 3273 11
Here is something completely different from me. Yes it is still somewhat of a fetish pic, but I went a different route to get there. I like the way this turned out, if you have HFC access you can see the progression of this picture from start to finish. I may do some more of these depending on how it goes with this one. I hope you all like it as much as I do, I think it is one of my best pieces so far. Please leave comments at to what you like or dislike about it so I can omprove. |
