Tony Wolfe found a yellow power ring during the Earth invasion and claimed it as his own. There's one problem with his lust for power: the Green Lantern Corps can now kill and are taking out everyone with a yellow power ring, and the Sinestro Corps want their ring back. Ok, so maybe two problems. |

Alright! A new lantern has come to play, the Red Lantern! They're powered by hate. And who better to hold the power of hate than a Weaponeer? By the way, that's me under that helmet as a Weaponeer because I think they're totally cool.
And yes, as they become more available, I'll be drawing me as all nine of the lanterns. They are eight (greed, hate, fear, willpower, hope, love & compassion are the original 7; #8 is the black lantern, which looks like zombies conjured by Black Hand). |

Black is the color of Death, and it is Black Hand who will bring the dead to life with the power of black. And in 2009, the prophesy of "The blackest night" shall come to past. And the 8th color will be revealed.
Oh, yeah, this is me as the Black Lantern. |

This is probably my last Black Mary pic because it looks like she's switched back to the "light side". (might do something for Halloween)
Took awhile to do this. Played around with the lightning for days, trying to find the right mix of not enough bolts but not too many either.
Hopefully I found the happy medium and it's not too busy.
Enjoy.

Hey all! I just found out about this site and it looks great! I've finally made the move from modelling City Of Heroes characters to modelling characters from bigger publishers... with my first 'real' piece being the Justice League (seen here). I've already got about a dozen other DCs done, and have dabbles in a couple Marvels. |

| Things That Make You Go 'Huh?' II: Girl Phantom

My recollection of this character is so vague that I couldn't remember if she came from the comic books or the comic strips. I couldn't remember if she was Lady Phantom, Girl Phantom, Phantom Girl, or something else. References to her wouldn't even show up on the Internet. I began to wonder if she ever existed at all, so I thought I would try and flesh her out anyway. If she was that obscure, she would make a good candidate for my Things That Make You Go 'Huh?' series.
Sometime later, I noticed that Moonstone held the license to the Phantom title and I asked if they knew anything about Girl Phantom. They gave me the rundown even though she hasn't been in the comics in years. Apparently she is the sister of the Phantom, and even subbed for him for awhile in the strips.
Anyone who's never heard of Girl Phantom can now see her as she makes her very first appearance here in the HM Comic Art Gallery.
Also, I couldn't remember if she carried two side arms like the Phantom or just one, or even none at all. To be sure, for this pose she carries only one side arm, and two 45's.

More firsts-- only at HM.
Perhaps you've heard of artists who create women that make you go "Ah!" But this is a totally new concept--women that make you go "Huh?"
The first in a series, presented here for the first time and exclusively at HeroMorph, where the Chief dares to be different!
(Okay, so I hadn't posted in the CA Gallery in a while.) |

FINALLY got a piece out. you wouldn't beleive how hard it has been to find both the time, and more importantly the inspiration to get a piece. I have to thank TylerMcdowell for the inspiration, cus after seeing his kickass batgirl, i had to make my own.
batgirl has always been a hard character for me to nail down, having done at least 5 iterations, without being satisfyed. I hope this one stands the test of time.
i also tried to make it more then a pinup, make it an actual piece of art. i was going for a realistic batgirl, and since rubber would be easy to make a batgirl costume, i imagined her buying it off the net. >_> cause its easy to make it into a costume. <_< no other reason.
enjoy, and please, any crits about the comp, the girl, or whatever, feel free to share.
Batgirl is (C) to DC. |

Photo realistic versions of some of the characters involved in the Weapon X Program. 95% of this was painted in Photoshop with Wacom Tablet
Left to right: Agent Zero, Deadpool,-Photoshop X-23(Summer Glau) Pencil/Photoshop (Just for the hell of it) Silver Fox-(Lynn Collins)*-Photoshop Wolverine-(Hugh Jackman)*Photoshop Sabertooth-(Liev Schreiber)*Photoshop
*I painted the actual actors confirmed for the X-men Origins:Wolverine movie. Based on a combo of how they appear in the comics and how they MIGHT appear in a film. This is just some fun speculation.

UPDATE: Following Bio's advices, I retouched this image a little on the boobs plates and also retouched the cape a bit and added a little texture filter. Hope it's better. |

Over at Renderotia there was a Frazetta art jam going on, where anyone who wants to contribute does an image that is a copy of/in the style of the artist Frank Frazetta.
This is my attempt at an image of his called Princess of Mars: http://tinyurl.com/27jwxr
I tried to keep to Frazetta's female body type, and picked a body morph that had prominent curves (hips, boobs, belly, etc. ^_^).
His women also looked a bit asian to me, so I picked an 'amer-asian' face for Deja Thoris as well. |

I've been using outdated figures for my last couple of renders as well as some made by 3rd party peeps. Surprisingly the figures haven't looked that bad in my renders. Here's another offbeat figure that I found somewhere over the internet. I'd love to give credit to the vendor but I got this so long ago I couldn't remember where or how I got it. Anyways...hope you like. |

It?s been awhile since I last visited the Heromorph site and I must say that I am pleasantly surprised at all the changes. I offer this image to celebrate Heromorph?s metamorphosis and of course, my return.
It would seem that someone made a wrong turn on the overhead bridge and quickly found their car accelerating in a direction that it wasn?t designed for. Supergirl manages to put the car on cruise control in a timely manner.

Lights are by Angela3d from her Illuminati light set at daz3d (what a freaking lightset!! OVER THREE THOUSAND LIGHT Presets for Poser 5+! sheesh)
Black Cat is V4 with Sapphire Fox hair by Quarker. Pose by sturkwurk from an upcoming Comic Heroine Pose set from Daz3d.
Spider-man is David 3, textures by sturkwurk, mask geometry by Sharby, Pose by sturkwurk from CitySwinger Pose set for D3 and M3.
Sky was rendered in Vue 6 and imported as a background into Poser 7.
Entire image was rendered in Poser 7, including the Depth of Field - at full size 3520 x 1200 it took 3 hours to render. I did have to post work a few touch ups on Black Cat's fur and hair and Spidey's Left webline. I've also tweaked some of the specular highlights on the black cat and brightened up a few windows in the background. |
