yep, i'm on a break. for about two weeks. i'm taking a few days off the internet, so that i don't read any Harry Potter Spoilers. yes, i'm a complete and total Fanboy. and it's too tempting not to look. i've also been playing around in C4d again, as you can tell by her new ballet heels. poser girls can never have enough ballet heels. and i got 3 new Pearl Jam cds, Ten, Vs, Vitology, and Yield, some of their best stuff. so hopefully i'll be so occupied i don't sneak online and try to find spoilers.
If you don't understand above, good for you. run, far, far away, and pray you are never infected with Fanboyism.
and so i don't get sued: i got the HP cover image from the fansite www.mugglenet.com, and am using it solely in a parody/humorous fashion.
hopefully i'll be able to finish my commitments after Harry Potter 7 ships. i do plan on getting the early bird smack down pic down before friday.
oh well, enjoy! this shouldn't go in the member gallery, should it? |

We haven?t had a Supergirl in? oh? I?d say about two weeks so I guess we are due. Here is free spirited Kara having fun with her power of flight.
I would like to thank Android for the base image and also for his inspirational versions of Supergirl.
The background for this image, similar to the one used in Angel of Light, was painted in Photoshop.

I'm pretty happy with this one. Still working on getting my inking skills to where I want them to be, but I'm slowly making progress. Penciled with 2H and B pencils, inked with dip pens and a brush pen.
Still haven't decided if I'm going to colour this.
Also, now that I have a mortgage, I may look into selling more of my artwork and taking on more commissions. So... if anyone is interested, let me know  |

From Mexico I choose not to go to your average superhero, instead here it is CerDotado (something like SuperPig or Gifted Pig) created by Polo Jasse.
From what I could find he's kinda a pig with superpowers and an anti-hero atitude. Like I said, not your average SuperHero. 
*update* : just found a tutorial on how to clean over pixilated images and since I was not happy with the cape as well, though this pic was a good one to give it a try. |

First time I try to make a suit all in black and white colors, so any tips on how to improve will be very welcome.
Wanted to add his sidekick/lover Tigra as well, but didn't look good for this background from the country. Maybe in the future will do it with a diferent background... |

Teotihuac?n is an Aztec site of great importance not far from Mexico City. The Aztecs believed the gods created the universe here, and began construction on the magnificent temple complex around 100 BC. . . . Today many tourists frequent this amazing site but recently there have been many reports of tourists mysteriously vanishing, local authorities have had no luck in figuring out the strange goings on, so the matter had been turned over to The Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense.
Of course The Bureau just assumed that tourists were wandering off and getting lost in some of the Labrynthine tunnels at Teotihuac?n, but just to be safe they sent Hellboy to check things out . . . . .

The idea for this particularly crappy drawing was born at work today when I was thinking about how sleepy I was. I was thinking about how I seem to be sleepy all the time and the name 'Captain Sleepy All The Time' sprang to mind. After thinking about it for around the next 10 hours I did this when I got home. The name changed to 'Narcoleptress' which is probably obvious. This character somehow acquired the power to make other people sleepy. To the point where she can actually make them fall asleep completely. Unfortunately, if she isn't actively using her power on someone, she feels sleepy herself. Which is why she is usually seen with a cup of coffee. And her belt pouches are full of money to buy more. She also leaves her shirt open to the navel since, owing to the fact that most criminals are male and she is usually sleepy when first encountering them, she often needs that first moment of distraction to snap out of her fugue and zap em with her powers.
She does help out friends sometimes who may be suffering from insomnia. |

the plot thickens! but really, i just love the idea of Cammy as a news anchoress. i was gonna have Chun-li be the weather girl, but decided, nahhh. i mean, yeah, Juli's a bit obscure Street fighter Chara, but i just like the design better.
And yeah, not as funny, but this is more of a connector piece, and a chance to bone up on my Photoshop skills. when i can get D/S to stop crashing, i'll do a pin-up of Cammy, and then do some more Batgirl. Sadly the next pic in the series has all Batgirl, no Cammy.
