| Thor the storm breaker DAGhoul Marvel Comics 2007/2/19 18:02 2440 4
This started off as a sketch. But it turned out so cool that I just had to color it. |

| J'oann J'onzz, The Martian Manhuntress Wasmith DC Comics 2007/2/19 12:34 5607 13
In keeping with my recent fascination with green-skinned chicks, here is a gender-bender of the Martian Manhunter.
I decided to not make her bald, since I think most bald chicks are freaky (sorry, Britney)... |

| Sonja of L'ame Immortelle Thayne TV and Movies 2007/2/19 10:24 2360 4
Sometimes inspiration comes from odd places. And in this case it came from Germany.
Digging for music that sounded completely different from the regurjitated crap I hear on the radio nowadays produced a video called Brennende Liebe by a group called Oomph. The chick in the black robe with red hair caught my attention.................. and she wouldn't freakin let go. |

| Aurora Walley Dead Artists 2007/2/19 4:36 4104 6
Never tried Aurora before, in fact I don't dabble much into the Marvel Universe, but I liked the costume and decided Crissy Moran would make a great model choice. |

| Mirror Engineer Walley Dead Artists 2007/2/19 3:08 4579 6
Here is Zuzanna Drabinova (or Raylene Richards) as a Chief Engineer in the Star Trek Mirror universe. This is a different kind of Trek pick that I had a lot of fun with. Zuzanna is always a great model to use because she always looks so pissed off! This is the kind of scene you could build a whole story around. |

| Rosario Dawson as Uhura Walley Dead Artists 2007/2/19 0:57 5205 8
Recently, Actress Rosario Dawson (Sin City) appeared on Conan O'Brien and proclaimed herself a big STAR TREK fan, even speaking some Klingon. Well, the wheels started turning and I could envision Dawson perfectly as Uhura in JJ Abrams new forthcoming TREK movie. |
|
| Vulcan Delegate Walley Dead Artists 2007/2/19 0:57 3897 4
Here is a new take on a Vulcan female being transported to a diplomatic function aboard the Enterprise. I thought the model Veronica Zemanova had just the right look for manipping her as a Vulcan. |

| Nametag VagabondX Original Characters 2007/2/18 23:49 1913 2
I work on sundays at this local used books/music/comics/dvds/etc. store. Recently the owner decreed that we shall have to wear nametag things. The ones they provided for us were ridiculously shoddy little things so I doodled this one in about 5 minutes before work today/yesterday. I only had time to do the drawing there so I brought it home tonight, scanned it and colored it. I'm gonna print it out and use the colored version from now on. I like the way it turned out considering how little time I spent drawing it. |

| Funnier in my head. VagabondX Marvel Comics 2007/2/18 23:08 2024 1
Saw the Ghost Rider movie this weekend and thought this was a funny idea. I realize its not real clever or original but hey, nobody's perfect. I liked the movie alot by the way. I screwed up on Spideys shading. Wasn't until I started coloring it that I realized the shadows would be on the opposite side as GR since he's the obvious light source. |

| Venom Lives Brian"FX"Ward Marvel Comics 2007/2/18 22:47 3020 4
Came across some shots of the new Venom statue from Spiderman 3 made by Side Show collectibles, and was blown away. I absolutely had to do a manip using it. And so...... about 4 hours later, I without a doubt, now have my personal best photoshop manipulation of all time. Oh and by the way, I love the Venom movie design, Sam Raimi is about to pass George Lucas status in my book.
Comments welcomed, please enjoy. |

| Tempo... se7endaze Marvel Comics 2007/2/18 14:30 3270 4
This is my second try at Poser... I figured I'd do a remake of my first attempt, while looking for a name I found out that there was a Marvel character named "Tempo"... "This mutant, with the ability to manipulate the perception of time, was an original member of the Mutant Liberation Front. Recently she chose to follow her conscience and abandon the group's philosophy of extreme violence against humans." Hope you all like it... See ya on the flipside... Se7en |

Click to see the animation if its not working.
I would like to thank Alex Ross for just a little bit of help with this pic, hehe.
Seriously tho, I have just learned how to make my pictures "glow" in Imageready. It was actually a lightsaber tutorial on you-tube, but I think it works ok for super-powers too. So, I found a current pic to try it out on. |
