It's another first poster. Here goes. There's a bunch that could be done better, but that comes with skill and practice. :)
For those of you with advice, I'm a GIMPer and will happily take some feedback. |

This is my take on a superhero after a fight. I wanted to do something more than just the standard pose like a model. I wanted to show a different side of a hero. I used three different models for the body parts. I was going to color it but I figures it looked better in black and white. I think maybe its a little dis-porportioned. What do you think of my use of shadow? Please tell me what you think. |

Been sitting on this one for a while now, (since before I heard Ryan Reynolds was going to play the Flash) I thought about re-doing it w/ Reynolds, but couldn't find a decent sized pic I liked w/out that frickin beard! Anyway, this kid Jensen Ackles (Smallville) could pull of a youngish Wally West I think. -Leif. (going Hollywood) |

Yes, I'm back with a vengeance. This is the very first character I created with Poser 5 (hmm...I wonder why?). The Blue Beetle- adventurer, super-genius, beloved by women everywhere (o.k. I'm pushing it with that last one)! Steve Ditko's greatest creation! Yeah, that's right, Spidey! DITKO'S GREATEST CREATION! |

| Silver Sorceress: Re-Imagined!
blubeetle3 DC Comics 2005/9/3 15:38

"Who in the flipping HECK is the Silver Soceress?"
The Silver Sorceress was a character created in the pages of the old JLI comic books. She was one of a trio of superheroes who came from an alternate (Marvel-based) Earth that was destroyed during a nuclear war. Silver Sorceress (Scarlet Witch), Blue Jay (Ant-Man), and Wandjina the Thunderer (Thor) were determined not to let that happen on DC's Earth and set about ridding the world of ALL nuclear weapons.
The one thing that always bugged me about the Silver Sorceress was that her costume WASN'T silver! It was a bronze color. (Someone should have notified the colorist.) So, here is the RE-IMAGINED Silver Sorceress. And when I think "skin-tight, silver bodysuit" (and, really, who doesn't think about it), I think of ol' "7 o' 9". |

| South West Avengers - Group
McAfee2000 Original Characters 2005/9/3 15:29

Ever so often, the Avengers ??????? call together heroes who wish to join their elite group. The Southwest Avengers is such a group. Based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the group was centralized to handle emergencies in Texas, Colorado, Oklahoma, Arizona, and Nevada. The Southwest not being a high traffic for extra-normal activity the decision to start a group was formed on the activities of past threats like the Hulk, and others. The call was sent out and those who thought they made the grade were given a chance to show what they could contribute to the team at the White Sands Missile Range.
Among those who were chosen, Apache, Brawn, Firefly, Jedi, Prism, and Pathfinder were all selected as members of the South West Avengers. There combined abilities were united to defend the Southwest from extra-normal activities that were a threat to United States and the world. These are the members of the Southwest Avengers.
Note: This character was created for a RPG called Champions by Hero Games. The specific campaign was a conversion of the Marvel Superhero Universe with the specific resources of the world and the Avengers. Southwest Avengers was an original name given to this specific group at its formation. |

Seems Heromorph went trick-or-treating in an unfriendly neighborhood.
The big red guy is Daredevil from Universe "X" (who later turned out to be Mephisto), and for those of you new to Heromorph, in the back from right to left are members: Winterhawk, Bikerbot, Billy and JRMcDeath. The dashing facade to the left of DD, is me, playing the role of Jude, the entropic man. oh yeah, and Heromorphs favorite angry bunny, Furiousmax. |

After Marvel Girl and the 60's, here comes Phenix of the 70's. Remenber the concept? 1) use a model of the year the comic's was drawn 2) try to make the costum look the way of the period 3) make her sexier over the years... The model is Claudia Jennings, playmate of november 69 (what a year!). |

I'm guessing the language in my last attempt to post this was too profane.
Suffice it to say that I'm extremely upset with DC Comics. Preview issues of DC's "Countdown" book have come out and Blue Beetle is the latest victim in DC's ever-darkening universe. I lament the fact that there is no room for humor there anymore. |
