Finally replaced my computer that died last Summer and this is my first try at a Doctor Octopus. Going to take a bit to learn good tentacle technique!

Plumbing the depths of obscurity once more...
Prez Rickard, his right hand man, Eagle Free and the villainous Boss Smiley.
Prez was a real clunker of a comic. Potentially a great idea, it really missed the mark and only lasted 4 issues back in 73-74 in spite of comic legends Joe Simon and Jerry Grandenetti working on the book. Still the character has shown up periodically... in Neil Gaiman's Sandman, in a Vertigo One-Shot, (grown up) in Frank Miller's Dark Knight Strike Again and in the Brave and the Bold animated TV show. |
