I've been tryin' to get this Rhino out OF MY HEAD for daze and I finally did! I always liked the Rhino as a villain, just brute force . . . I would have liked to have seen an opening sequence in one of the Spidey movies where you see a nice peaceful bank and then all of a sudden BOOM! Out comes the Rhino with bags of loot, of course Spidey shows up, we get to see a great fight scene with cars gettin' smashed, Spidey cracks a few jokes and then catches the Rhino and Bam, end scene, so all us comic geeks coulda got an extra character in there without the studios tryin' to write some elaborate story line to try and fit him in to the flick . . . I'm thinkin' "The Big Show" woulda been good for the part . . . . oh well. . . . Check out more of my stuff at www.wiseapple.biz

Finally got to see Spiderman 3 and liked the black suit so much I wanted to do a drawing of it. Not sure if I like how this turned out or not. Cheated on the background by just finding a photo of buildings on the net. Funny thing is that its a photo of Bangkok.
May as well add SPIDEY TIME! here to get in on that event. |

| These are a couple of crazy characters of mine that I recently featured in a story that I wrote at another website. This is also the first artwork that I've ever done where I colored the characters in Photoshop in addition to the logos, background and other type in Photoshop and Illustrator. |

This is a coloring I did of a drawing by My friend Tim Bowman. It's of a group of Golden age characters we are playing in the champions system.
I had a blast taking the line drawing tim did and adding the color layers and backgrond images. All work was done in Adobe Photoshop CS2. As I completed the big broken wall, it dawned on me that it was a perfect warbonds poster, which fit the style of our characters to a tee.
This is my first post, hope you enjoy and I would love feedback. |

This is an older one that I thought I'd already uploaded here, but apparently hadn't. Here's the story that goes along with it:
John Stewart serves as special advisor to Green Lantern Shocha Yaache as he attempts to negotiate a ceasefire between two warring factions in order to evacuate innocent civilians from the warzone. Though Prefect Biiza Mungu said all the right things, John had serious doubts as to his commitment to both the ceasefire and the safety of the civilians.
Starring Apollo Maximus and RawArt's Brutus Ultimus texture set as John Stewart, x2000's Darcassian as Shocha Yaache and Sixus1's Bigfoot as Prefect Mungu. |

The stables were empty when Sera got there, for which she was quite grateful. The princess was in no mood to talk to anyone, and was certain that even a child could see right through her feigned nonchalance. In truth, she was shaking on the inside. Just as part of her thrilled at the prospect of being out on her own, the immensity of her actions, leaving her parents and safety of home, filled her with unease. Yes, if anyone had been here, she was sure her resolve would crumble.
?Well Ranale, are you ready?? she said stroking the horse lovingly. The horse gave a soft whinny and nuzzled Sera?s ear making her laugh. ?Of course you are. You and I share the same heart. And my heart is telling me it?s time to go.?
She led the horse from the stable and leapt into the saddle, pointing the horse towards the outer gates of the keep. She stopped once, only briefly, and looked back. ?I will return one day. But not before I?m ready.? The horse was restless. He wanted to run. Sera laughed again, and her unease left her, lifting her spirits. ?Ok, boy?lets go!?
No further urging was needed. The horse fairly flew down the road, kicking up a trail of dust. A few villagers coming and going from the keep scrambled to get out of their way. It took only minutes to get to the wooded trail leading her away from home and into an unknown, but open world. Sera reveled in the freedom and the exhilaration of the ride. It was a feeling she would not long forget.

| I'm not sure exactly what the problem is with this one but something really bothers me about it. Sort of seems like the top of the figure doesn't match up with the legs somehow and the head seems wrong. Not to mention the arms and hands and blah, blah, blah... The one on the left is the original layout and the one on the right was flipped over. The flipped one looks better to me which seems sad. Which looks better folks? The flat colors or the shaded? Second question: I feel like its proper to post most things I do. The work I'm 'happy' with and the stuff I'm not so that I can get authentic critiques on my work. Does everyone feel that way or should I just post the stuff I'm happy with? |

i remodeled batgirls costume after the year one/cartoon look. i like the costume so far, but am dissatisfied with the face....so any davice would be helpful! rest assured that i'll show a full body shot of this batgirl in a bit. the supergirl is a pretty straight port of the cartoon.
enjoy, and any advice, comments, or suggestions for new characters/scenes would be welcome!
PS:masterchief, i'm pretty much done with rachel/phoenix's design, but am still trying to find a good pose for her. i'll post her in a bit.

| I used the same Model as the first one that was done. But of course there always is the Red and the Blue suit. I had to totally rebuild and do the costume from scratch. Webbing all. As well I gave it a moonlight background instead, seemed to fit better anyway. As You can see more of the details for the suit actually in this one. As far as the suit goes and detail I like this one better than the first one. Had to redo and try to give it a moonlight feel on her back as well. The webbing was done with paths and one line or curved web at a time. As well I tried a new technique for the costume texture on this, tried to match the Honeycomb feel to the suite. But take a look and let me know what you think.... always like comments. Thanks guys! |

My contribution to the May Challenge over at AniMotions. Pencils, inks, Prismacolor markers. Venom and Kraven turned out well, and Spidey is okay, but MJ and Mysterio are crap.
I've decided that I hate drawing Spiderman and that he has lame villains.

A towel, as it says in The Hichhikers Guide To The Galaxy, is about the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitch hiker can have. Partly it has great practical value - you can wrap it around you for warmth as you bound across the cold moons of Krypton; you can lie on it on the brilliant marble-sanded beaches of Oa, inhaling the heady sea vapours; you can sleep under it beneath the stars which shine so redly on the desert world of Kalanor; use it to sail a mini raft down the slow heavy river Otago; wet it for use in hand-to-hand-combat; wrap it round your head to ward off noxious fumes or to avoid the gaze of the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of New Genesis (a mindboggingly stupid animal, it assumes that if you can't see it, it can't see you - daft as a bush, but very ravenous); you can wave your towel in emergencies as a distress signal, or to cover yourself when that freaky Power Boy steals your top and of course dry yourself off with it if it still seems to be clean enough
I was going to draw her hands but I suck at them and all attempts looked like crap, also was going to put a bit of lace on her bra but turned out I can't do that either  And I know it looks like a sketch but the scanner picked up a lot a lines that where rubbed out. I think I may have went a little overboard with her hair  |
