Erin Angel as the 1st Spiderwoman. I mainly did this manip for three reasons:
1) wanted to try brighter red and yellow colors as suggested by several artists (comments from my Phoenix manips)
2) wanted to try if the pillow emboss filter was any good, so I added spider legs to her costume to make full use of the emboss filter...
3) i needed to relax after that hell of a board exam... |

| Well I know it's been awhile since I've done anything here but I have had my reasons. While I was away i did quite a few new sketches of Unicorn characters for the website. Here is one that hasn't yet been posted anywhere. The guy's name is BloodStar and the girl is Starblaze. Both belong to a group of futuristic bounty hunters called the Imperians [yes that's with an "n" not an "l"]. A color version of this is forthcoming unless one of you guys wanna try yer hand at them. | This is a sketch that I intend on coloring, but I thought I'd give you guys a sneak preview. The pic pretty much speaks for itself: Clark Kent is coming out of superspeed in sight of either a friend or a foe. I tried to put a little bit of resemblance of Tom Welling in the face but more along the lines of a comic book rendition of the actor. Originally it was going to be on Loeb Bridge but the sketch didn't work out. Etched on 9 x 12 with 6H to HB leads. Late. |
