Here is a real quick one I did last night. Needed a break from my other stuff that I am doing and I wanted to get another Tick manip out of my system. Total work time on this one was a hour and a half. Enjoy. |

That's right, Black Vulcan. the obscure character manipper strikes again! Black Vulcan was added to the Superfriends in their second season when people started to complain about all the superfirends being of a certain persuasion. Seen recently on an episode of Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law as a character witness for the injured Apache Chief and member of the Multicultural Superfriends, made up of Apache Chief, Black Vulcan, Apache Chief's girlfriend, Samurai, and Jesse Jackson. enjoy. |

here's my answer to the May challenge. Barry, also known as The Tick. A rich kid who's dad own's the Superhero Bar where Tick and Arthur hang out, his shield gives him immense strength which enabled him to battle the Tick almost to a standstill. That is, until Tick took his shield away and then punched Barry into next year. The model is shootfighter Ken Shamrock. I think he does a good job of expressing the disgust and rage that Barry feels for the Tick. |

This is my entry for the Gillian challenge. I originally was going to do something more like what MissVee did. But by the time I got around to working on it. I just could not think of anything original to do with Roswell porn that would make it funny. So I went a whole different direction with this one. Again I was inspired by BA's recent experimentations to create this. I used a whole different method to get this result mind you. See comments for details. Gillian Anderson as Fairchild. |

I don't know if these are technically photomanips, howver they are manipping photos onto existing images so it's close enough. These are the three manipped Greg Horn images that formed the backdrop to my FXM/Emma Frost Piece. I manipped Jaime Presley's face onto each of the images and then unified the cholor schemes into a pale faux sepia tone. Just thought you might like to see the details. |

Ok, I wanted to do a follow up to my Elektra/Loss Adjuster pic for a while now, and when I found this pic of Cindy Crawford I immediately thought it would make a great base for She-Hulk, Jennifer Walters.
The source image was a bit messy so I had to do some tidying before I began. The first thing I did was to broaden the shoulders and deepen the chest using the free deform tool. This was then blended back into the original image. I then created a mask of 'shulkie' so I could keep things neat later. The background is created from scratch over the original murky black curtain. I used some mauve gradient fills to create a floor/wall join and to provide some lighting. I used the same effect to create the window behind 'shulkie' making a faux 3d effect to frame the image of new york street signs I found on google. The spidey is taken from a pic of a statue of him peeking in another window. I shaded him to make him darker and as if lit from the room. Over spidey and the street seen I created a glass pane using the noise filter then motion and gausian blur to give it some interest, and a white/black gradient to make it look shiny. The brief case was another google find which to which I added Walters stenciling and a shadow and floor reflection to blend it with the image.
All pretty simple stuff, but I just wanted to make sure I kept my basic skills up during a dry creative spell |

Well here it is! I've been working on this on and off for a while now and its finaly finished. Its the first time I've maniped the Scarlet Witch and I have to say I'm pritty pleased how its turned out. I have tryed out some new techniques for me on this one like the texture effect on her clothes and the coller. Any way I'd be greatful for your thoughts as always.

Christina Aguilera as Mockingbird. Not the best casting choice, perhaps, but I have a reason: this is actually a re-make of my "the Lynx -original character" manip. When I finished it, I thought: hey, this should be easy to make into mockingbird. Well, it wasn't. But here it is. Hope u like it! |

My vote for the actress to play WW in the movies. Also, my first attempt at a WW manip. Harder than I expected it to be. The base pic had this nifty reflection in it, so i left it there in an effort to show a bit of what the original looked like. Notice i have changed the color of the apple she is eating from red to gold. (Sorry i posted 3 pics in a row, but the site has been down for a while and i've been itching to post these three. Also, due to certain factors, my internet connection could be down for a while next week, so i figured i'd get them all in so maybe i can get some feedback before then!) Enjoy... |

This piece took some time. What I first did was scan in a picture of a man. Then darken his skin so it looks like the black under clothing of Shredder. Then I used a image from the disk Visual Reference for comic artist volume 1 of a chrome staute( I also used this on the Martian Queen). By morphing the chrome to fit my ideas. Then I scan in a comic cover of the Ninja Turtles and darken it so that shredder would stand out. Then I illustrated 2 tear. Then I did some glares. Also I did glowing eyes. Enjoy |
